Everyone who has floors needs one of these
I bought this Hoover because my Hoover Linx cordless vacuum got relocated to the camper.
** Love the feature of selecting the mode for hard floor or carpet or brush off. The roller brush spins faster when on carpet versus the hard floor. **
** Love the battery - how it is attached to the vacuum - easy on and off. The battery also has a battery level indicator you can activate to see how much battery charge you have left. **
It's been years ago since I bought my first stick vacuum. The convenience of being able to grab and go and vacuum a small area or an entire room without having to get out the corded vacuum is what I love. The canister is easy to empty and maintain.

this vacuum does not pick up anything on my carpet, floors or hardwood. It leaves a pile of garbage behind it constantly.

Any other vacuum involves cleaning rollers after vacuuming, which takes longer than actually going over the carpet. Cleaning this is a cinch. Battery life is terrific. It stands along without support. We've spent thousands and thousands on vacuums, but this puts all those to shame. Congratulations to Hoover. You finally did it!James

Looked high and low for a replacement part, only to not find any. We're going to have tape it together until we can find a suitable replacement. We decided on this model based on previous reviews, and, honestly, were extremely happy with the performance, until it stopped vacuuming! If I could find the part I need, we would be happy.Ken

The handle does not detach to make a handheld and when trying to get under furniture, the bottom comes off the ground. It did not have the suction power that I was looking for and there was no wall mount to hang it. I wasn't too impressed with it.meda48

Slightly heavier but rolls smoothly and easily; and maneuvers well on both hard floors and carpets. Picked up fine dirt from carpet not picked up by other vacuums. Easy to empty. Would definitely recommend to those looking for a smaller and lighter cordless vacuum rather than heavier full size models. #sweepstakesTherese

The worst design upgrade is the switch. The floor/carpet thumb switch on the handle was convenient and simple to use. Now there are three steps of power and you must select each setting with a button. The performance as far a cleaning is as good if not better than its pedecessor. The convenience of removing the brush roller is beneficial. The manuvering of the head is far better with the ability to change directions by rolling almost 60 degrees with the flick of the wrist. Overall it is worth the cost for someone who needs a daily clean-up from kids and pets. The Hoover Customer Service is also very good to deal with.James
