Excellent Item
I purchased the Hoover Impulse Cordless Stick Vacuum & it has more than met my expectations. I have hardwood floors with area rugs & it cleans both with ease. I have next to no strength in my hands & arms but it is light weight & so very easy to handle. Easy to empty dirt cup & clean the filter too. I am more than satisfied with this purchase.

Save your money and buy a real vacuum cleaner
If you're looking for something that works like a Vacuum Cleaner, Please save your money and buy a real like. I think this is all for looks. I can't believe I paid this price for this thing and never took it back in time. I guess I didn't use it enough to tell how much I hate it. I doesn't do anything right.

    Great Cordless Vac, for a Small Apartment
    We had this exact model and it's been our trusty home vac. We were blessed with a little one a few years ago, and this is absolutely necessary with one running around. The battery eventually gave out, but we immediately ordered a replacement vac because how vital, convenient, and easy this one is to use.

    As loud as my last one, still doesn"t like to pick small pieces ( stones-pieces of dog biscuits-etc). My last one wheels wabbled badly ( got very loose thought that they would fall off) and hung up and wouldn't move quite often had to nudge to get to move, and hose split all over- tried to tape that only lasted for a short time. Would have replaced head if I thought of it, but thought this one would be quieter. I do like the size of the head-smaller than my others. Price was good.

    Work great
    I purchased this vacuum because it has roller brushes. I purchased a more expensive vacuum last year and the tubes always stopped up while using. It was a pain. This one picks up small debris easily and so far the tube has not stopped up. It requires emptying often and it quits running after a few seconds and you have to press the trigger again. I am not sure if this is how it is supposed to work or not. So far this vacuum does what I need and I am a satisfied user.

    Dirt spits back?
    It vacuums up the dirt but when I stop the dirt falls out of the vacuum. I find the vacuum useless. Is there any possibility I can return it? I got a lemon.

    Just don't
    The whole thing is awkward and worse, lacking in power. The included tools are a joke. One is meant to be for focused cleaning but isn't strong enough and the other will be a pain if any hair is present. If all you need it for is cleaning areas that are already basically clean, consider it a score. Otherwise, find something that will work for you. This is not worth the price or frustration.

    Design fault
    I'm a believer in Hoover vacs...my previous stick vac was purchased in 2016, and I loved it and got a lot of use out of it. Finally the battery died, and I couldn't let myself pay the high expense of replacement of the battery...thought I'd be better off just replacing the vacuum that was six years old and much used. Unfortunately, my vac was not shown on your website. So I chose the Impulse. It sat in the box for a long time before I opened and assembled it. I figured I was past the return date, so after trying it out, I figured I was stuck with it. The heavy weight at the top makes the vac heavy, unwieldy, and simply more difficult to use. It requires greater hand strength. Then the fact that it doesn't stand up on its own creates a total mess as I stop and start. I have to take it apart to store it or charge the battery, which is completely another mess. So, I had to drill holes in the wall to hang and recharge it, and have to lift it for storage. I get the feeling that whoever came up with this design has never done any actual or frequent vacuuming. Period.

    Mostly fine
    The vacuum is lightweight and very easy to use. The first problem is trying to remove the long extension when the vacuum needs to be emptied...sometimes removal works; other times it doesn't come off...Hmmm? The other problem is the wire connection to charge the battery. It is extremely difficult to remove the 2-prong plug...rocking it eventually works - designers need to make the connection much easier to remove (check out Dyson's battery-powered stick vacuum for ideas).

    Works great, but.... Until I figure this out - 3 stars
    Intuitive use, really powerfully (but noisily) cleans the wood floors and low profile throw rugs. Love the way it is weight balanced and turns on a dime and how it gets under things better than any vac i have had. BUT, as I wind down the usage event, dirt seems to collect in the roller, so when i turn off the vac, the dirt in the roller area spills onto the floor in one spot: annoying. I know there is a solution to this! :) #sweepstakes

    Good suction and easy for this 77 year-old to handle
    I've only used my new vacuum once so far. It did a good job on my area rugs and laminate flooring and was very easy to maneuver. The upper and lower sections can be separated to tuck into separate parts of a small closet. The various attachments and configurations look like they'll be easy to use on my car interior, window and door sills, and furniture.
