I ordered this bamboo shelf-unit to organize my piano music. Both of my piano teachers years ago, had a pile of music & music books on either side of the music board. This shelf is surprisingly sturdy, and has four little pegs at the bottom which sink into my heavy carpet; very stable. I believe the unit is made entirely of bamboo, so it's light weight and heat very strong. In addition, the shelves LOOK light, not heavy and bulky. I couldn't be more pleased. Also, the unit was very easy to assemble, and the Allen wrench was included!

    Just ok wouldn't buy again
    I like this bathroom shelf. It was easy to put together but where the screws go it was unclear which way the holes should be placed. One side had the holes but with a deeper depth than the other side, instructions did not explain if the hole with a deeper depth went on the inside or outside. This item was shipped to my home in the box that you would see if it were purchased in the store. There wasn't an additional box for protection or cushioning and I think we all know how shippers can abuse packages sometimes. One of the side pieces was separated at the top, fortunately I had some wood glue and was able to repair it. Not sure if that was a manufacturing issue or a shipping issue. Additionally, there were wooden dowels, two on each side piece, that didn't allow it to set evenly (wobbled), I just removed them, not easy to do, it still wobbled so I leveled it with shims. Not worth the $54 but also wasn't worth sending back. I decorated it and with the adjustments I made to it the shelf looks ok.

    Honey Can Do storage shelf
    When the 4 tier bamboo shelf arrived at the house I immediately liked the looks of it. I opened the box and it took me about 23 minutes to put it together. I learned later that the hex wrench, which is included, is to be used with the short end into the screw heads, not the long end, which is why it did take me the 23 minutes to build it. Just remember to put the short end into the screw head and turning the wrench will be easy. The shelves are slotted. It stands about 3 feet high, about 12 inches deep, and 14 5/8 inches wide. The blond bamboo is very pretty. Once the screws are tight it is quite sturdy. The shelves give a look and a feeling of lightness, and the use will depend on your imagination. Looking at it I get endless ideas: holding magazines you are collecting, books, plants, towels, toys, canned food, wine, knitting, sheets, indeed any use you might have, for your plant room, a child's room, a sewing room, etc. Mine is in my breakfast room. It presently holds cereal for breakfast, coffee mugs, juice glasses and spoons. It is very pretty and it adds a nice light touch to my room décor.

    4 Tier Bamboo Shelf
    I am disabled and it was the easiest shelf to put together. Its beautiful and would be a great shelf for any room. I'll use it in my laundry room to hold all my supplies. It is very very sturdy and its a pleasure to put together. It took about 10 to 15 minutes if that to put together. It is a lovely shelf and I may get a couple more. I am impressed and its very nice looking. If one is available you won't be disappointed at all.
