Amazing and pain free!!!
So easy and pain free, I didn't have any piercings until Monday, and thought it would hurt so bad, and I was so confused when it didn't, this kit works wonders!!! My mom did the piercing and bought the kit in store!!

Great idea, horrible execution.
This went rather poorly. The first earring jammed and then I had a hurt 9-month-old flailing with a gun stuck to the side of her head. Pulled the trigger back and quickly repunched it without touching the earring, the backing went on slightly crooked. She calmed down once the earring was in so we went for the other side. Second one went in smoothly yet wouldn't release either. However I was ready this time and quickly broke off the little tab holding the backing. They are both in, straight and centered, but it was nothing like the "peaceful gentle method" promised. The videos all show the 2000 model tool which looks like a gun while the home kits come with a disposable syringe-like tool, so maybe the deluxe tool works better.

    It's So Simple!
    I'm a busy mom with little kids—I've wanted to get a second earlobe piercing for a while but never could find the time. Enter the Home Ear Piercing Kit. It came quickly, the instructions were clear, and it had all the pieces. I easily pierced my ears by myself during the kids' naptime. After reading some of the reviews on here, I made sure to push the plunger aaaall the way through, until the second click, and had no issue with it getting stuck. Very little soreness, either. It's been several weeks and the piercings look great with no sign of infection. I definitely recommend this kit!

    Make this tiny alteration First
    Used these on myself and my daughter (four ears) . First I was up and the gun got stuck as many reviews and videos have shared and shown. When you look at the cartridge there is a tiny tab in he middle over the ear ring backing. Use your finger or a small tool (tweezers worked for us) to Pull that tab back. You can loosen it or pop it off, both worked for us. Once doing this the next three piercings the earrings went in and the cartridge came off without getting stuck. You will need to take more care in placing with a steady hand but I did this with my three year old with no problem. Also when you are about to press the plunger make sure a small piece of the earring has depressed already so it can instantly pierce. Easy stuff.
