Very good zipper seal bags
I was very impressed with these zipper seal bags. Previously only knowing Hefty as a trash bag company I was surprised to see that they make zipper bags. These are quart size bags and they have a slider that you use to close the zipper seal. They held up really well and did not break under the weight of food or even liquids (marinade). I was very pleased and would definitely purchase these bags in the future.

Half the bags won't work
Half of the box is missing the grey thing at the top that slides to close the bag. Really poor quality control with this box.

    Ludicrous!
    The product is fine; it is your shipping of this one item only that is ludicrous! It was shipped in a padded envelope and box was crushed so hard it had opened along the perforated lines. What a waste of your money to ship 1 item!!!

    Excellent freezer bags
    I have found so many uses for these 1 quart capacity freezer bags. I make smoothies and juices for myself, therefore I need to store the fruit and veggies I buy in bulk. These freezer bags are excellent for storing kale, spinach, berries, and others fruits. I also store meat, beans, chili, and leftovers for the family in these bags. I can honestly say I no longer have a problem with freezer burns on my food. What a relief to finally find an excellent, reliable food storage bag. I will definitely buy the Hefty gallon bags at Walmart too. Although there are store brands and other competitors bags available on the market, however, nothing compares to these Hefty freezer bags. I have had my best experience with these Hefty slider bags. I will continue to use these excellent bags. The bags are clear, sturdy and well made. The zipper seals tightly and are easy to seal and open. They have a strip to write and identify the contents. I like to put a date on the bag also. I highly recommend these Hefty slider freezer bags.

    Bags I can put my food AND my faith in!
    We are a family of two so these bags are my go to for economical and reliable food portioning and storage, both short and long term in the fridge and freezer. They are the perfect size for the portions for a two person meal, like 2 large chicken breasts, 2 steaks or up to 1 1/2 lbs of ground beef. I love these because I can easily close them with wet hands or even one hand. I also love to freeze meat in liquid marinade so it flavors as it thaws, and these bags never leak in my fridge or on the countertop. Even my easily frustrated child can seal in the freshness on cheese and meats, etc. adequately so there is no food waste due to bags not being sealed correctly. They are thick, reliable and worry free. Love the value pack quantity and price, worth every penny.

    I received this Hefty Slider Freezer Bag with Zipper Lock 1 Quart Capacity, Clear (Pack of 50) from the Walmart Spark Reviewer Program to try and review. I like these Freezer Bags a bunch. The zipper seals food in and keeps it fresh.I freeze leftovers in these bags and use them for quick meals at work. When I choose a sandwich for lunch these sealed bags keep the bread soft and fresh. I recommend these bags for all that pack a lunch or freeze meals for easy meals. Thank you for reading this review.

    High quality and durable baggies
    I received this item for free in exchange for an honest review. I usually lean toward generic alternatives for everything from paper products to food. However, with plastic baggies, I've found name brand usually always wins! Certainly the case for Hefty. I use freezer bags a lot for leftovers, baked goods, etc. The zipper adds extra sealing protection, and the plastic is super thick and durable!

    The best freezer bags!
    Hefty has a long time, great reputation as a strong bag manufacturer. These freezer bags are no exception. The two best points about their quart size freezer bags are 1. the seal of the bag and 2. the white space on the bag. The seal is a slider seal that is very tight. It held water while I held the bag upside down. Great for keeping liquid or solid contents in the bag. And, if you have ever used a freezer bag that did not have the white space to write on, you will understand how important this is. Because you will forget when you put the contents in the freezer and possibly what you put in it.

    Great Zipper Bags
    Okay, I think it is a matter of opinion on which is better...the slide close or the zipper close. I am definitely in the "slide close" camp. I can't tell you how many times I have thought I closed the zip on a plastic bag when low and behold everything falls out. Surprise! Not! When you slide these bags closed you can see AND know that the bag is closed!:). There is a small catch in the zipper when it is closed so the zip doesn't just arbitrarily open on its own .LOL. The Hefty Slider Freezer Bag with Zipper Lock is an awesome product. I have the 1 qt pack of 50 which is great for leftovers, and storing fruits in the freezer. I like to put all the frozen ingredients for smoothies in the bags and then my 9yo son can just pull one out, add liquid, and voila! No mess, no fuss smoothie!:). The bags have a white strip for writing the ingredients or contents on the bag. Hefty has a great product that costs less than the other name brand freezer bag...so I always say buy cheaper if the quality is the same. Who wants to waste money? I definitely recommend the Hefty Slider Freezer Bag with Zipper Lock.

    I was given this product for my honest rating and review. I was sent a box of Hefty slider freezer bags with super lock in the 1 quart size (PACK OF 50). The product arrived with no damage. The freezer bags are 35% thicker so it prevents freezer burn, and keeps good tasting fresh. These bags are easy to use and work great for freezing anything from meats to fruit. I am happy about this product and do recommend it rate it 5 out 5.
