I purchased the cheap one and this one works beautifully...This is the one to purchase if your daughter is asking I highly recommend

Worst toy investment EVER!!!
My kid seen it in the store and had to have it! So we bought it. When we came home we started reading the directions carefully as this was her first “big kid” toy. Directions said to charge it before use and we did, took a little over an hour to charge. She was so excited to try it out and FAIL not once, not twice but MULTIPLE times! It just stated spinning on the launch pad full speed and didn’t even float up, when we would gently tap it, it would hover for 2 seconds and make an unpredictable dramatic landing! My daughters joy, excitement and interest faded and filled with confusion and frustration and me being a parent just wanted to see her happy again. So there I sat for 30-45mins trying to get it to work on my own, I even googled it and watched a few YouTube videos and still nothing. The wings/propellers hit my fingers multiple times mind you this is hard plastic similar to a remote control airplane or drone!!!! It hurt so bad and I’m an adult so I could only imagine a CHILD and you guessed it, still NOTHING!!! I tried every which way to get it to fly and all it kept doing was crashing! A wing broke off and I was able to snap it back in place. Please don’t waste your money, you’re better off buying a remote control plane and blinging it out and adding glitter, jewels and crystals to make it super girly or to your child’s liking! $30 after tax might not seem like a lot but for this I’m highly dissatisfied and disappointed. To those who got it to work please let me know!

You need to touch its feet and push it up to keep it in the air but the wings just hit our hands and it stopped. Not worth it. Looks cool but kid stop playing with it after 2 minutes.Victoria

We did almost think she broke it at one point because it wouldn’t fly. Come to find out my husband figured out that two small pins on her torso fell out/fall out easily when she falls. We found them on the floor. He fixed it. It flies again just fine! After every use we have to constantly check to make sure they are still there and tight inside. We finally got fed up and super glued it instead. Still check it out of instinct but it’s secure now! That was our only concern but it’s fixed now! We love it! The best flyer ever you can buy for a little girl! At first I didn’t think my daughter would get it but the last few days she’s been doing wonderful! It sucks if this has scratched a child or hurt their hair but I mean come on, seriously. You’re dealing with an unpredictable flyer and you have long hair down around it? What do you expect to happen? I just find it all hard to believe. My daughter has had no issues and she is one who is most likely to get hurt or have something like that happen. So it’s just weird for me how it happened to where it was all the flyers fault. Anyone’s- definitely adult supervision, show them how to properly do it and be there with them or don’t do it at all! We got complete hang of this thing and can catch it by the head and legs, stop it from falling, control up and down and sideways where it goes! It’s easy! It seems cheaper but it’s made to basically fall and ours fell a lot at first and withstood it so it IS DURABLE!! Still in perfection condition! If my daughter of all little girls can handle this thing- yours can do too, trust me! I definitely believe we’ve gotten our money’s worth. I like the egg/case. Sometimes I feel the battery doesn’t last long yet I can’t really comment because my daughter never lets it fully charge. It’s never actually legitimately died on us either: just seems not as powerful and actually can control better when the battery is low lol!Bridget

Now I am not so please with this due to the fact that the one my daughter got which is the pink on lost a tiny metal piece that helps it keep it steady. If I would have known that the other one was gona break that easily I would not have purchased this! I am so angry at this point! 24$ for a plastic doll that only fly’s for 10 mins and then has to charge for 30 mins is a waste of money! These dolls should have came with other pieces or be made a little better knowing these would fly all over the place and eventually run into stuff. Not worth the buy!!!Case
