Happy with these socks
I was concerned that these socks would cut into my calves like previous Hanes Cushioned Crews I have bought years ago. But these are fine. I wear size 9 shoes and my calves are what I would consider normal size. The size 8-12 fit fine and are very comfortable. No indent in my legs at the top of the socks! I did mistakenly get a pair mixed in my wash with my flannel sheets and they attracted and unsightly amount of lint, but other washings have been fine. Note that these were also labeled "Cool Comfort" which did not affect the thickness of the socks from other Hanes Cushioned Crews I have bought.

TOO TIGHT! They hurt
These socks are SOOOO right. They leave marks on my legs. Horrible, horrible. I can't wear them. Wish I would have realized this before the return window closed. I've never had a problem with Hanes socks before. Will not buy their socks again.

    The price is great! The socks is soft and very comfortable. In my house it seems like socks just walk themselves out of the house, soft you are anything like me you are always buying socks. These are affordable and very soft. Worth every dime.

    Personally I like the cuff to be a little looser on the ankle otherwise it's not great for my circulation but I really did like the socks they're comfortable, substantial and soft. Hanes is a good product

    Good utility socks
    Good buy for these durable socks! I use these for slippers in our cold winters. They fit well and stay on my feet. After washing, they still look like the new pairs, they've held color and shape.

    Used to love them but quality has gone downhill
    I loved these socks so much I bought my 2nd purchase about 3 months ago. However, the quality is really poor. They are way too stretchy and the heels already have holes. Like I said, I love these socks, but why are they wearing out so quickly?

    Poor quality! Do better Hanes!
    Dear Hanes, I am disappointed in you. Your quality has gone down the drain. My husband has been disappointed in the mens, and now Im disappointed in the ladies socks. This are soft, but the material is absolute junk. They will not last long. I am glad I got these at a low price and that I am not using them for everyday socks, only for boot socks. Bring back the comfort and quality you used to be known for Hanes.

    Lots of lent on the inside-after countless washes
    These are great socks, but after probably 20 washes, they are still lenting all over my feet when I take my socks off (lent on my feet, on my rugs, in the bottom of the shower). This is my first time with black socks too, but I don't have this problem with any other sock. Very comfortable though.

    These crew socks are fantastic. They stay up without squeezing at the top. I am a nurse so I am on my feet A LOT and these are by far my favorite. They are cool and don't make my feet sweat and even seem to wick the moisture away from my skin. I would highly recommend.

    Very poor quality
    I just bought the socks three weeks ago. Worn them each twice and they already have a hole in the toe. My neatly pedicured nails are not the problem these are horrible quality. Very disappointed!

    A bit tight around the ankle
    The socks are well made and comfortable, however they are a bit tight around the ankles and I have small ankles. After wearing them for a while, I have a indentation.
