Great for toast
Beware! Great features; however, when using a temperature gauge to verify that the temp I set was correct, it showed oven was 25 degrees hotter than what I set it for. Probably great for toast and pizza.

    Defective Product
    I ordered the Hamilton Beach convection toaster oven Model 31331 from Walmart because it had the lowest price of the other two retailers who carried the oven. I recd. it 2 days of schedule and did not have to pay s/h. When I unpacked the oven the door would not fully open or close. I tried to start and online return to no avail. Appears I'll need to return it to the store.

    Smart design with basic functions plus convection.
    This toaster oven is simple, functional, easy to use and clean, and does not take much space on the counter. The knobs are easy to turn and the thermostat works very well. However, when the oven is set to Convection, everything is done faster, but the process should be monitored because instructions do not provide any specific time frames. The only statement I've found is that the convection method cooks up to one-third faster. The shape of the oven is quite innovative. The back is curved for baking pizza or a round cake. The only issue with this feature is that the back wall of the oven becomes very hot, I mean VERY hot. The oven should be carefully placed in the area away from any objects that can melt or ignite. But it's true with any heating appliances, for sure! All in all, I think it's a very lovely toaster oven!

    Very handy
    This toaster oven replaced a small toaster oven that had lasted over thirty years. It is a good size and easy to use. I especially like that it can handle frozen pizzas.my only disappointment is that the tray almost immediately became stained, in spite of my efforts to prevent it from happening. Not a big deal but it is unsightly and a bit off-putting.

    I purchased this for my grandson. OSU graduate who has been accepted to NYC and is leaving in June. He originally had my old one and figured he deserved a new one so this was sent to him. He just loves it. No waiting for the oven to heat up wasting gas when he can pop most anything he eats in the toaster oven.

    Great big toaster oven with a small footprint!
    This toaster oven replaced my old one and it is amazing! The previous one was good, but the capacity of this one is almost double the previous and on practically the same footprint on my counter - amazing! It also gets the job done quite quickly! Toast is perfectly golden & crunchy, but not burnt. It has a convenient and intuitive indicator for toast doneness that eliminates the guesswork! The convetion feature is also amazing, and the heat distribution is even and accurate. This thing fits a frozen pizza without any issue and gets it done way quicker than my conventionl oven! I've roasted veggies, 'baked' french fries, cookies and cinnamon rolls, and all came out perfect! This is the best toaster oven I've ever used. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

    Everything takes less time with this oven!
    For some time I have been wanting a convection oven, but in order for me to get one I needed to get rid of my Hamilton Beach toaster oven no counter space for both.So I finally did it and passed my toaster oven down to a family member and replaced it with a Hamilton Beach Convection oven that is also a toaster oven. I thought I would start out with something simple to make and I chose some coconut shrimp and French fries, as you can see in my photos they where cooked to perfection the color and texture where just perfect. Then I thought I would try a Roaster Chicken and the normal oven temperature was for 375 degrees and roast for 31/2 hours, so I set the convention oven for 375 degrees and basted it every hour and it was done in 2 hours as you can see in my photos it cooked perfect and was falling off the bone and the skin was crispy. I can’t say enough good about this oven I have made grilled cheese, baked bread and garlic bread in it and everything has been perfect I am so happy with this product I am not only saving time and money on my electric bill but I have a quality product that I believe will last me for a long time. I have read where some people have complained about a loud noise when they use the convection oven and mine didn’t do this mine was a very low pitched noise but mine was level so I do believe theirs wasn’t so please make sure yours is level. I highly recommend this product you will love it and save money on your electric bill as I have. Also much easier to clean than a regular oven and less time to clean the pull out tray at the bottom helps tremendously. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
