Don't waste your money
Don't waste your money. My tower computer from 2000 is faster then this thing. When you open the internet and try to open a webpage it takes about 5 mins just to load the information.

It's the same as a tablet with a keyboard
My mom bought herself this laptop but uses her IPad so she ended up giving it to my kids ages 13, 9 and 6. The 13 year old will be starting high school next school year and we gladly accepted this laptop from my mom due to the fact that it was free for us. We had been looking for a simple computer for our oldest that is user friendly but budget friendly. We don't need all the bells and whistles at this time, just something simple for school work. We didn't need something that you can watch DVD's or play video games because our kids are already addicted to their XBox, PS4, Switch, Iphones, tablets and IPads. So with that being said, I will give you my review on what this laptop is and what it isn't. First, it's beautiful- color- wise. It's a really pretty blue. It definitely stands out. The 14” screen is fine for kids or people in general. It's not too big but not too small. It's mostly plastic but doesn't feel cheap. It's light weight so if you're having to travel a lot with it, it would be comfortable. The screen is nice and bright. It's very clear. Has a sharp image. Easy to see. And that's pretty much what I like about it. Has almost no storage and you can't update the internal storage. You can use external storage. This might bug people. All three of our kids' IPhones has more storage than this. I think their Amazon (kids edition) tablets have about the same storage. That's frustrating if you're wanting to save things to it and you can't. And the few things you do save will make it extremely slow. So I would recommend external storage. Not saving things directly onto the laptop itself. I wouldn't use this to play games. My husband went to college for computers and he said “This is not a gaming computer”. So Roblox, Fortnite etc you probably can't and don't want to play on this. And if you found a way to do so, please don't tell my kids. It's slow and it can freeze up. It's done this a few times to us already and we've only had it less than a day. It comes with a lot of good programs so that makes it worth it. Just the Office 365 alone is a $70 program that you get for a year. So with all this being said, I do think the price is high for what this is. I wouldn't pay more than $150. It's basically a tablet with an attatched keyboard. For $250 I feel like you could get something better. It's not even a touch screen. But, if you really like the pretty color and you only want to websurf this computer is ok. If you're expecting something better you are in for a disappointment. I think they can make something better to be able to charge people $250.

    Low disk space
Pro: It can run your basic things like office, email, and internet. I broke the screen a couple months in it's easy to replace screen. Con: Not alot of memory,a dual core processor, and low clock speed.

    No brainer computer
If you need to write, this is the machine. With Office365, its truly a no-brainer. It's quick on Internet browsing, too. I've purchased 2 of these in the last few weeks, one for my mom and the other for my wife. If you want a huge HD of space to locally store pictures, then this isn't for you - but you really should not be doing that with a laptop, anyways. Since it's running the Office365 suite, it's easy to keep everything safe, then access your files through OneDrive. With this kind of pricing, application suite, and quality; bye, bye Chromebook.

    HP Stream Laptop
The plug in for the mouse is on the left and the plug in to charge is on the right, somehow it feels and looks not right, seems like the cables are always in the way. I guess if I had a wireless mouse it wouldn't matter. Overall I'm happy with the laptop.

    Love the HP stream
I love this laptop it comes with a narrator and helps you set it up! I would recommend to a friend! I wish I knew it was only WiFi adaptation! I wish I knew I couldn't hook it straight to internet!

    My daughter loves it!
This laptop was a Christmas gift for my 8yr old. She loves it!! Color is super cool, size is perfect, and it meets her needs. Price was great too! She uses it mostly for online homework, watching netflix videos, downloading music and doing Powerpoint and Word projects for school. Came with 1 yr of Office 365. Not a ton of hard drive space but enough for her. I thought this laptop had a microsd card, which I would have preferred so I could leave it in the machine, but it has a regular sd card that sticks out of the machine so it can't really be left in the machine. Came with 1 yr of Dropbox so will use that for extra storage if needed. Super light and easy to use. Pretty fast internet and easy to set up. So glad we purchased this laptop! We also bought the Walmart 3 yr warranty just in case we run into any problems.

    Satisfactory for low level usage
Did not have enough memory to download all Microsoft updates. Had to do a good bit of housekeeping to free up space. Works acceptably for email, solitaire, and internet. The screen is a bit small for my taste but I wanted a cheap laptop that was limited.
