Great laptop for the price
I am a Microsoft Certified tech and have been purchasing these red HPs from Walmart for a couple years now. This is the first time I've bought the newer generation of them. Still same great laptop for basic/budget needs, and HP finally did away with the silver keys for silver ones; small, but significant.

Very disappointed in HP
Short battery life....sluggish response....drops internet every five minutes, even though it says it's connected. Very frustrating to use. Sent back. Seemed like a refurbished unit. At one point I got that "do not turn off your computer message, it has been taken over by" etc. Scared the bee jesus out of me and I hadn't even searched many sites. I always buy Hp...Have to rethink that strategy now.

    My bank card was charged $50 extra because I had one package of prepackaged Oscar Meyer lunch meat whiz is a fixed price and the weight is on the package. I am very disappointed with the service of your representative who would not listen. My husband is terminal and I have no money because I just started a new job and had to purchase my own electronics. I am very frustrated! B

    buggy, keeps freezing
    I purchased this wanting an upgrade from my current Acer chromebook mainly a screen upgrade but this is actually worse. I've had my Acer for about 3 years and its still fast as the day i got it. But this HP is slowly and buggy out of the box. it froze for about 4-5minuets once evwrything was al set up and "ready to go" every app ive cli ked is freezing. will be returning to walmart tomorrow and will just wither get another chromebook or just save monwy to buy a hifher end laptop. realy disappointed in HP for this , low screen quality
