    WOULD RATE -5 STARS IF I COULD
    TERRIBLE, stopped working after less than a month. Don't waste your time with the warranty, it will just tell you to contact the manufacturer which still won't guarantee a solution. Worse controllers than the original joycons.

    Quality cheap, price not cheap
    This product looks good in videos and on the packaging, and the price suggests that it is a quality product, so it was quite shocking when I took it out of the box and it felt like a knockoff. It's feathery light, which should be a good thing since it's for handheld only, but the lightness adds to the cheap feeling. On top of that, the plastic is "inconsistent", like there are some dark splotches in one spot and lighter splotches in others. It's immediately apparent that this is not a top-tier-quality product. The nail in the coffin was the rail that slides into the Switch was not properly formed and had a bit of a curvature. I was worried that over time it would fall off. Didn't want to risk it so returned it. The official joycons are a quality product and the higher price reflects that. It seems that in this case Hori is just riding on the joycons' coattails and trying to sell a $20 product for $50. Thank you to Walmart for making returns easy and for having a lenient return policy in the first place.
