OMG!
This lawn mover is totally different than the traditional lawn mower. I like my yard work even more because of this lawn mower. First, it has the space saver capability, the rails folds down. Then, there isn't much effort to start up the mower, as before it was hard to pull that string to start up the mower. This mower is definitely great for a woman, who lives on her own.

Junk. Lasted 5 mows in my small front yard.
5th time i used it on my small front yard the adaptive speed stopped working. 6th time i used it (or tried to) the thing won't even start. Called customer support and they said i could take it in for service. Shouldn't need to be serviced after only 5 mows but since I'm out of the 30 day warranty i guess there's nothing else i can do.... it's not even summer yet and i need another new mower.

Need to fix the deck height handle
It mows great , but the deck height adjuster handle won't lock in tight, kept moving out of the setting that I put it in. Pulling back on the mower handle, tapping into a fence or landscape edging cause the deck setting height to change on it's on. I had to keep stopping to reset it. Not doing that for a $500.00 mower or any mower for that matter. Sent it back.

I hate mowing, but this mower has made the chore a little more bearable. It's powerful, quiet and easy to push. I typically get 30 - 45 minutes of run time on a fully charged battery, so you may pick up an extra battery or two if you have a larger property. Two batteries gets my 1 acre lot mowed, front yard and back yard.

    want buy an other one.
I bought this as a gift for my husband in March 2021. He went to use it and the self propell doesn't work. he's only used it a handful of times. it's kept inside our house, not the garage or shed. battery doesn't last long, but that's OK, for our front yard, tall grass is a little bit of a problem, that's my fault, it's been raining to much to get it cut on time. I did pay for extra insurance, but they are tell me to contact the company first. I will think twice about buy a battery operated anything. Hart's need to replace my push mower plus give us an extra battery for all our troubles.

    Pleasantly Suprised!
I received this product for free as part of the HART Tools friends and family review program. Everything stated here is true and representative of my experience. This was my first time using a battery powered mower after using traditional mowers all of my life. I was pleasantly surprised by the power of the power. My favorite feature was the adjustable speed for the self propelled option. As well the clippings catcher is a nice design and sets well on the mower.

    Just can't cut it
I usually like Hart products and I tried to give this one a chance but it's not worth the money. I bought this mower twice. First time it arrived damaged so I sent it back and got another. Second mower the handle came loose on the left side during my first use. Not a screw to tighten just a dimple that pops out and makes the whole mower handle awkwardly. I tried cutting with it again the next week and it shut down nearly every two steps. Admittedly my grass was thick but I went SLOW and only used maybe a quarter of the cutting radius and it still shut down. I was only able to cut half of my front yard which is small and it burned through three 40volt 5ah batteries. I just gave up I was so frustrated I was ready to push it into the road and watch it get pulverized by an 18 wheeler. So now I'm sitting here with half my hard cut processing another return. I really like the idea of no gas or oil and less maintenance but this is poorly executed and I guess I'll have to go back to gas power.

    Perfect cordless mower
My son Colin got tired of mowing our half acre with a corded mower. So he used his money to buy his Hart 40 volt 21 inch mower. Colin is a multi international award winning magician and been performing 10 years. He is currently 16 but knows what he wants to do with his life. Once he got the mower he charged it up and started to mow..a huge smile came across his face. It got even broader when he heard tonmower power up over a thicker area and then power back down once he passed by. He wants to add a second battery and start cutting for so neighbor's and buy more Hart tools to start his little summer mowing business. He also loves the mower light enough to pick up and stores vertically in the garage.

    Impressed
After I got it assembled (I'm not a great assembler) I took for its first spin around a very grown up yard (should've had its first cut 6 weeks ago). I'm impressed. My whole yard (medium) on ONE charge with lots of power left. Easy to adjust cutting height. QUIET!

Top of the line cordless lawnmower
Clearly a great deal of thought was put into this fully-featured lawnmower. Requiring no gas, no oil and no pull-cord start, after a very simple set up, all you need to do is charge the 40V lithium battery for about 6 hours and you are ready to start. The lawnmower itself is very heavy, so I actually had to dump it sideways to get it out of the box. But no worries, as the mower is very sturdy. You unfold the handles and lock the into position. If you want to mulch, you can easily attach the catcher that fits into molded grooves on the mover. You can select automatic adaptive speed and engage,or you can push the buttons down to use it as a push mower (not recommended because the mower is heavy.) You can work at your own pace by squeezing the power handles at the top of the mower handle. The speed of the mower also automatically adjusts to the density of the grass. The height of the mower is adjusted with a single lever instead of having to adjust each of the sturdy wheels. The mower is not slowed by using the grass catcher, as the front end weight of the mower keeps good balance. When the grass catcher is full, it is easy to lift it off the mower to empty and reinstall. If you use the grass catcher, the battery life is impacted by as much as about 30%, although the batter life was longer than expected at 1 1/2 hours. The quicker recharge allows you to finish mowing the yard with some nice breaks for other tasks.
