Easy to Use and Easy to Replace Blade
I received this product for free as part of the HART Tools friends and family review program. Everything stated here is true and representative of my experience. My French drain pipe needed a section replaced. The Hart 2-IN-1 Safety Utility Knife cut through it easily. I like that it is longer than my collapsible utility knife. The extra length made it easy to put some pressure into cutting the pipe. This utility knife feels sturdy and has a nice weight to it. The solid knife and weighted handle helped cut through the thick plastic material that needed some extra force. My dogs were running around, so for safety reasons I liked that it retracted easily. I pushed the button and tossed it on the ground without letting go of the pipe I was pulling out of the ground. My other utility knife doesn't have easy access to the extra blades. This knife has a button you press that opens up the blade storage compartment. This is a nice utility knife. I would recommend it to my friends.

This was The worst utility knife ever. When we opened it up to put the blade in the springs popped out things fall apart I had to return this knife.

    Good carpet knife
    This is well made and goes through carpet %26 padding like a knife through butter, it made carpet %26 padding removal much easier. I would buy this again.

    When opening to get a blade, tiny plastic pieces fell out. No idea where they went or what purpose they served. Trash!

    Hoe does it work?
    This has the potential to have been a good product, but it didn't come with instructions. Seeing a prominent screw on the side I figured you needed to open it first to load a blade...which appears to be true since that's where the blades were found, but now I"ve got pieces everywhere with no clue on how to put it back together- and still, no instructions.

    Great utility knife
    The shape of this knife fits so comfortably in my hand and has a cushion like feel. Plus I love the way you can either use it as a self retractable or stay type blade. You can also carry extra blade in the handle . This is my go to for most all of my projects. This one is by far my favorite out of all the utilitie knives I used.

    Great Features!
    I received this product for free as part of the HART Tools friends and family program. Everything states here is true and representative of my experience. I love this knife for the option to extend the blade in place or quickly engage it for a quick cut. The mechanism is smooth and perfect as often times I forget to retract the blade and have little ones running around. There are comments on the lack of instructions but it is very intuitive if you have owned a utility knife before. The quick load feature is also a must on any knife. I also appreciate the pocket for additional blades that is easy to access without a screwdriver or quarter to open it up for the new blades. My wife also loves using this knife due to the features and the options for extending the blade. Overall this is a great tool to have handy at any time. I don't think you will be disappointed with this purchase!

    I bought this thing on Dec 24, 2021. Now I've had box cutters in the past but never have I had one this complicated. It's the stupidest box cutter I've ever paid for and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. To date I have not figured out how to safely remove the blades so I can actually use this it. What a waste of money.
