Awesome purchase!
The Gymax 10FT patio solar outdoor offset hanging umbrella is awesome! Assembly was very easy. It casts a huge shadow providing a lot of shade. The tan is a great color, matches everything and the solar lights add ambience to any evening. The weights for the stand are a must.

    Would definitely recommend.
    We love this umbrella! And the company selling it was amazing and the first one had a flaw. They shipped a new one immediately. The solar component is excellent and provides a nice subtle light late at night or early morning. Would definitely recommend.

    Don't buy!
    Horrible quality! I know it's not the most expensive on the market but for almost $150 I expected it to last longer than a week!!!!! A spoke broke through the umbrella fabric top! It flies all over the place now. Completely unstable. 0 stars!

    Is there a trick to getting the lights to work?
    I love the size for our deck, and the ease for putting it up and down. Now if I could only get the lights to work! The manual is no help at all! The umbrella has been in the sun for a week so they should be charged, and I've flipped the switch multiple times, but nothing.

    Awful!
    Not sure if there are missing parts or not but the umbrella will not stay horizontal. Every time the wind blows the entire umbrella flips. I cant tell if I put it together correctly because the directions are about two sentences long. I contacted Walmart to return the item but apparently you need to repackage everything so keep the boxes and try the umbrella out for a few days before getting rid of the boxes. This was a complete waste of money. I do not recommend butung

    Sun and Swim
    We enjoy this patio umbrella for the west side of our pool. It creates great shade against the evening sun. The lights make a great evening glow on the pool water or when taking an evening swim. Only down fall is the lock is very tight on the adjustment pole and I don't have the straight for to work it so my husband has to do the height adjustments. It could also use protectors on the base legs at the ends to protect bare feet.
