Great customer service
This is my 3rd GW product. Their customer service is second to none. There was a problem with the 14” original unit. Shout out to Keppler and Dakota for figuring out the issue and replacing the unit. I buy GW products because of the ease of all products…it is by far the best part.

Pleasant Surprise
Got rid of my gas powered chain saw and purchased a 14 in Greenworks. Thinking that I'd have to except a loss of power and cutting ability. That's not the case, the Greenworks is so much quieter obviously, but also has plenty of power for the smaller jobs.

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/19/2022Seems Okay, But Customer Service SUCKS!I've only used this chainsaw once. So I don't feel I've had it long enough to give it an accurate evaluation. It got the job done- cut up some large tree limbs that fell after a storm. But that doesn't tell me how well it will work in a year. I will say this; I had to constantly re-tighten the chain - like after every two cuts. They get 1 Star because their Customer Service is literally nonexistent. The instruction manual provided is extremely vague and inefficient. For a first-timer like me, detailed instructions are vital. It tells you NOTHING about what type of oil to use, or how to properly add it. Nothing about the chainsaw brake. Nothing about how to properly tension the chain. No instructions for cleanup. I literally had to learn everything through various YouTube channels! I tried THREE TIMES to call their Customer Service number to ask questions. 1st call: gave up after 9 minutes. 2nd call: 21 minutes. 3rd call: gave up for good after 14 minutes. Never once got a live human being on any of the calls. BUT! They don't provide an email. Their website has no chat or form request options. The phone number is LITERALLY the only method of communication they provide, and then they don't ever answer the phone! If you don't mind being completely on your own with a company that'll just take your money and run, sure...buy a Greenworks chainsaw.NailQueen

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/12/2022Poor performanceThis Greenworks Chainsaw is very disappointing. I could barely get through a branch with a 5 inch circumference. The chain kept falling off. I did get very good about reassembling and tightening but it still did not work well at all. I ended up using a handsaw much more quickly than this chainsaw. I will be returning it and do not recommend itMac

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/06/2022Good saw, bad batteryI purchased this chainsaw for my father, who in his 70's is still very active, for Christmas. I love that it is lightweight, easily handled and has plenty of power. I wanted to make his life as easy as possible so that he would no longer have to strain pulling a chain to get his saw going and then have to handle such a heavy saw as the one he previously had. He was really happy to receive it at Christmas and was looking so forward to using it. Unfortunately, there is a problem with the battery similar to the issue I have read in a couple of reviews that have been printed after I purchased the saw. After fully charging the saw he can only get about 10 minutes of work done before it completely stops working. Even though there are still 2 bars showing it will not do anything. So, he recharged it fully again and tried using it and same thing happened. Got around 10 minutes of use and then it stopped, still shows bars on the battery left but won't even turn on. So, he decided to let the thing charge for a couple of days and tried using one more time. Same thing happened. Since it's under warranty, I called the support line many times trying to speak to a person without success. I would be, as another customer mentioned, like the 100th customer in line. Finally, I called one morning as soon as they opened and was able to speak to a representative relatively quickly. The representative, Aya, that I spoke with was very friendly, professional and went through a number of trouble shooting techniques with me to see if we could correct the issue. We were not able to do so and she immediately shipped a new battery out, as that was determined to be the problem. The reason I gave 3 stars is because the saw worked great for the time that it actually worked and support was very helpful and quick to send out a new battery when contacted about the issue.PamelaJ

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/08/2021Small but MightyI'm a 64 year old widow and I needed something beyond a hedge trimmer but smaller than the big gas powered chainsaw that my husband used. Perfect for me. I took down a dead dogwood tree in no time...diameter 6-8 inches....and cut it up without difficulty.QuestioningShopper

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser11/24/2021question about keeping chain on barNice chainsaw, a bit lighter than my conventional Stihl. Starts up easily. Though after a few minutes of light use, the chain is unaligned from the groove in the bar. I have to take it back to the shop, take the cover off and re-align the chain to the bar. I cannot figure out why it keeps going out of the groove(this has happened four times). The tension is correct, the chain moves freely by hand before starting but is not too loose. If I cannot find out if it is a chainsaw problem or what I am doing incorrectly, the chainsaw will go back.tofu5

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/19/2021A WinnerI heat my house w/wood & have two gas chainsaws, but sometimes for small jobs or trimming off the ground I don't like getting them out. The Greenworks saw has exceeded my expectations. Light, easily handled, plenty of power & battery matches my string trimmer. Great purchase.Unknown
