Recent purchase- Taste seems off
I have been purchasing this coffee for a couple years now. In my opinion it's better than the SF French roast from C-ost-co and I like not having to locate a grinder while the ice cream is melting. :-/ However with my last 32oz bag, the flavor seems really off… tastes more like the stuff you'd get in a budget hotel. Just wondering if something was changed?? Anyone else noticing this?

I would have given 5 stars if I could get it as beans and grind myself. Was more convenient when I could get it in the store. Now that my local Walmart won't stock it I have to order this coffee in $50 quantity to avoid extra shipping cost. Or, I could drive an extra hour to the next nearest store. Of course, since that's a nicer store I might as well get the rest of my purchases there as well.michael

This is a wonderful second choice and FAR more bang for the buck at 2 lbs for less than 10.00$! If you prefer the sweet undertone of the Starbucks French Roast you will like this coffee. Fresh, dark and flavorful instead of being charred to ash like most french roast coffees. Expiration on the package was 10 months from now. Excellent!Cnmn
