Walnuts - chopped
tastewas good and chopped enough so I didnt have to chop them again! (I would say most pieces are 1/4") and none were black or dried out in any way

Unfortunately I lost my money
I don't recommend them at all. I bought two packages and it tastes rancid, there is no good quality control in the product

    Bad taste
    I have bought these a couple times without an issue. This recent bag has an awful taste. Ruined an entire batch of cookies. Won't rebuy.

    filled with sharp, hard shell fragments
    Don't buy Great Value Chopped Walnuts. There are a lot of very hard and sharp shell fragments all through the chopped walnuts, so that sharp fragments will pierce your gums or you'll bite down on a hard fragment and almost break your tooth. TERRIBLE!!! not worth it!!!

    Nice convenience!
    I don't mind chopping nuts, but sometimes time and workspace is in short supply. It's nice to just measure and toss the nuts into brownies or banana bread.

    Old, stale, rancid walnuts are inedible
    These walnuts are so old and rancid that they are unusable. $9 is way too much to pay to end up throwing them away. Walmart needs to be more particular about storing their walnuts without refrigeration--they get rancid FAST. Very disappointed!

    Nuts are not edible.
    I"ve bought Great Value products several years and have been pleased for their value and quality. These walnuts I've purchased several times but this package is rancid. I just opened these this week but cannot eat.
