Love this never going back to a regular thermostat
Set up was like 5 minutes, everything is connected to my phone and I love that it makes recommendations on what my temp should be at to save me the most energy. I also set it up to automatically adjust the temp through out the day at different times. best part is I can assist the temp from anywhere even if I'm not at home.

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser11/14/2022Biggest headache everWORST THERMOSTAT EVER! It came already hooked up with my apartment but the minute I hit factory reset, it came back on with the low battery code/continue through the Google home app which has never worked…Nonetheless, and this thermostat has never worked again. So I have no heat or air conditioning.Amy

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser10/20/2022Cheaper than Amazon by $10This is cheaper by $10 than Amazon and came just as fast. Walmart is great when they have what you are looking for and the quality matches that of everyone else!DEWZ

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/27/2022Best price Google nest! The features of the Google nest is awesome. The nest needs the power connector for my home. Installation is not that hard because the online manual is pretty clear. Now I have a fancy and smart thermostat controlled by my smartphone. My family also like it. The Walmart price is very good better than any other website like Amazon. The free shipping was also pretty fast. Highly recommend it.Kenny

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser11/16/2021Not on the Nest App?I bought this because I wanted to be able to see all of my Nest products on the Nest app. This NEST thermostat will not work with the NEST app. When I try to add it to the app it redirects me to the google home app. Pretty lame.Mike

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/02/2021Solid Nest Product (update available though)I'm a huge fan of Google Nest products and most of our smart home system is on their stack. I had the Nest Thermostat E at another home before installing the Gen2, and it was interesting to see the differences. Installation wise, the two products are nearly identical. As with other Nest products, it was easy to follow the instructions. We just unscrewed the old thermostat, snapped in the 5 coloured wires, screwed it back on and everything turned on. The battery started charging and Google directed us to the website to download the app to complete the rest of the setup. Compared to the E, this thermostat is about 10% larger and thicker. Instead of a frosted white surface it's a mirror finish. The thermostat uses a touch screen instead of a dial. Some things are nicer for this, but I really liked the tactile click and turn of the E. Compared to Gen1, 2 is supposed to be smaller, and the newer version that's out is even thinner (but still thicker than the E) I like the Nest as a thermostat but do find I end up turning off some of the auto scheduling. If you manually override any settings, it tends to learn weird preferences. I see some other negative reviews about it – I don't really use this feature, so I'm still happy with the product for being able to remotely manage the thermostat, and for general ease of setup and use. Unless you're actively repainting or fixing your house, I recommend getting the trim plate in case your old thermostat is not exactly the same size. Between the Nest E and Nest, I find the E good enough for most cases, but the fact the new Nest supports the sensors is something I'll be looking into further.
