Not That Smart
I find it really annoying that you can't display AM or PM on the clock. I work very irregular hours so it's actually quite easy for me to lose track of time. Where I live, 5am and 5pm can look the same outside. Sure I can set the clock for 24 hr time but I prefer 12 hr since I'm not in the military and not to mention every other clock everywhere around me is 12 hr. I think “smart“ should mean giving you options since everyone's needs aren't the same and this ain't it.

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser02/08/2022Being a commodity is inconvenient sometimes. This device is strange. I bought it to help improve my sleep and set it up in my bedroom. Then I started using my google assistant functions on my phone and found my nest hub answering me in a different zip code. Looking at forums, there are plenty of unhappy people about the fact that this can not be changed. Strange with an organization as big as it is, that they wouldn't have a few programmers making a tweak for this. Yet their business is collecting and selling people's data. So we must soldier on being the commodities that we are.Jeff

2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/18/2021Read itNicely designed and packaged but otherwise useless. Android apps such as Nest and Home are much more efficient and better designed. This hub is poorly laid out, and overall, it is like giving instructions to a 3-year-old precocious child. If you have a later model "smart" phone, you are already years ahead of this one. Returning.Erik

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/17/2021Sound stays at volume you set it at.I have the previous generation hub and there isn't any obvious difference between the two. I haven't been able to get the sleep monitoring to work even though it seems like you should just go into the Home app and set it up, but it won't do anything on the hub. The only thing that is better is that the sound stays at the volume you set it at unlike the previous hub where it would get very low.Laura

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/06/2021Great Smart AssistantGoogle assistant on this is great! Love the sound when playing music but must turn it up to really hear the best sound. Low volume makes it seem muddled. Best one out there right now!Tim
