Terrible New Scent
Why did Gillette change theri original formular ? It"s way over powering and terrible. Please change it back to the original scent. Will return what I have bought and never use Gillette foamy. Ive been using Gillette foamy for many years pior.

    New scent stinks
    My husband has been using this Gillette Foamy daily for over 40 years. He started a new can a few days ago and it smells awful. Overpowering scent and very difficult to “wash away” the scent on his face and hands. Should have returned to store but he threw it out almost immediately. Gillette should do more market research to discover more brands are trending towards “Unscented” or “fragrance free” products, rather than amplifying scent.

    This new version has an unbearably strong perfume.
    I have been using this brand of shave foam for years and now the new version has fragrance that is much too strong and I'm gonna have to switch to another brand. After shaving and then washing my face, it still smells like I splashed very cheap perfume all over my face. For me the new fragrance is unbearable!

    NEW 2022 Formula STINKS Like CHEAP Men's Cologne
    The other reviewers are correct. I just called 1-800-GILLETTE and the CSR told me that they DID change the scent (and removed a chemical) in January 2022. I bought this can in September 2022, and it STINKS like very, very cheap men's cologne. He claimed that they test new products, but there is no way that they tested this with women on the panel because no woman would approve of this smell. My guess is that they made the smell more "masculine" so they could try to sell a more expensive "shaving gel" to women. Please call Gillette at that 800-number and complain about the STINK. Be firm and don't let the CSR water down your comments. I've been using Gillette Foamy in the red can for at least 25 years, and I loved the product. The new product is complete garbage. Don't be fooled by the photo -- this vendor and all Am*z*n and Walmart vendors are shipping the new 2022 "horizontal Gillette" can, not the old "vertical Gillette" that smelled good. Photo is of the 2022 stinky product.

    Much nicer shave
    The Gillette foamy is so much better than the gel. Less nicks and cuts. It is also easier on the plumbing. Less gummed up pipes.

    The ProGlide is awful now!
    The 2017 ProGlide blades were the best cartridge razors I've ever used. But I just bought some refills that were manufactured in 2020 and they are terrible! They give me bad razor burn and cut my face. The 2020 blades are different looking than the 2017 ones. The new cartridges have less microfins and a green strip instead of blue. Something is really wrong with these new blades. I think Gillette cheapened the quality of their razors and it's not just the ProGlide. The Fusion 5 has a similiar problem and I suspect other variants do as well. I'm upset because I spent a lot of money on these and can't use them.

    Description misleading saying 2 refill when in fact it just the blade coming with the razor and 1 refill.
