This cacao bittersweet works really well in my baking. Gives enough flavor to make it tasty. So worth the money i spend on it.

This is my favourite, which is much less sweet than typical chocolate bars. It is truly lovely...if/when it's in stock. Usually I scoop up whatever inventory of these chocolate baking bars that I find on the shelf, because this product is notoriously out of stock, at least in my area.

    Makes great Lava Cakes
    I've long been a fan of this chocolate brand-deciding to make Lava Cakes for the first time. It required 3 baking chocolate bars, and my family loved the results. Very rich and the cocoa flavor was the bomb. Definitely recommend this bar for baking delicious treats.

    Smooth melt
    I bought this Ghirardelli bar to give it a try. I usually get the least expensive chocolate for melting, because when I make candy, I make a large amount. I had noticed that my melting chocolate hasn't melt smoothly & seem to seize up, so I wanted to give Ghirardelli a shot. I have many times used Ghirardelli chocolate chips, but this was the 1st time for the bittersweet bar. After making & dipping my candy, I will NEVER use anything but GHIRARDELLI! It was so smooth, melted beautifully, excellent quality & the bittersweet kept the candy from being toothache sweet. I plan on using Ghirardelli only in my baking and I would definitely recommend it to all of my baking friends.

    Ghirardelli has always made good chocolate and this baking bar hits a perfect balance of bitter and sweet for your baked goods. The one ounce scoring makes it easy to break into measurable pieces. And it melts well and is very creamy. Make the molten lava cake recipe on the back, it's amazing!

    Ghirardelli premium bittersweet chocolate baking bar is the best chocolate bar to bake with, the flavor and smooth texture is great to bake cakes and brownies with. My family loves it when i bake i will definitely keep using this chocolate.

    I use Ghirardelli's Chocolate to make my family some brownies and they loved them. They said they were the best they ever ate. So if you want a great chocolate you need to get this one to cook with you won't regret

    Smooth high quality chocolate
    I was very impressed with this 60% cocoa baking chocolate. The taste was very smooth and not bitter. I would eat it right from the package. They conche the cocoa to remove the bitterness of the cocoa been. It has zero sodium and 0 cholesterol. I appreciate the sustainable sourcing cocoa farming program. The bar is 4 ounces. It's 70 calories for one serving which is 1/2 an ounce with the bar having 8 servings. I highly recommend this chocolate. I sprinkled this grated on top of cupcakes and I also ate some without using in a recipe. This is a natural chocolate with no questionable ingredients.

    I didn't think I'd like baking with these because I don't usually go for dark chocolate but these are perfect for baking and I'm never going back! It's not bitter at all and it's a good balance to the sugar/brown sugar in the rest of the cookie. I like rough chopping the bar into slightly large pieces so there's more chocolate in every bite. Sprinkling the cookies with some sea salt is also a great finishing touch.
