Perfect performance
I own three of these units !! I put one in a 28/30 garage and it cools and aids in heating it I added a sun room on and it is perfect for that ! Then I built a game room / she shed for my grand kids and it was perfect and easy for them to use with the user friendly remote that's included

Quieter than old unit.
I bought this three weeks ago, used it for 3 days and a piece of the plastic fan broke off causing severe vibration. To their credit Frigidaire sent a repair man out right away and he was able to replace the fan quickly. It's only been working again for 4 days, but so far so good.     Install harder that thought.
    This unit has a heater in it, which I have not used as of yet. The air conditioner works well, about as good as the old model I had for about 7 years. This unit is a bit more noisy than my old one, but that may be due to it being slightly bigger with the heater in it. I was disappointed that it came kind of bent up, ( shipped FED EX) and it took a little longer than I would have expected, but that was due to shipping. Our unit is installed through the wall, and since this was just a bit larger, installation was not as easy as we had thought it would be. The first thing that surprised us was the size of the wall plug. It is enormous and we had to stop and travel to the hardware to purchase a replacement receptacle to accommodate this plug. The wiring was fine, but the hardware we had was not correct. Luckily my husband could do work like this, but it still took about an extra hour of our install time. Anyway, we really need a good air conditioner and hopefully this one lasts for years to come/

    Heat and humidity gone!
    We bought this AC unit a month ago. We have seen hot and humid weather in Minnesota this summer. This unit does a wonderful job of keeping us comfortable. It was very easy to install. We are also looking forward to using the heat setting to jump start warming the house when the weather turns cool this Fall! What a great feature! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

    A REAL BUMMER
    I have has Frigidaire air conditioners in the past. This was my first time to order one from WalMart.com. Boy, was that a a BIG MISTAKE!!! I also paid for installation through WalMart. The temerature was in the 96-98 degree range! The unit arrived, three days latter the installer arrived. The new unit was broken!!!! I had to ship it back! that was NO EASY TASK! The new one had to shipped back AND RECEIVED befor the next one would be shipped!!!! It seemed that the returned unit was taking reeealy long to be received! I was finally told that the reason was that there were out of stack!!!!! I purchased a Friedrich air conditioner from an appliance store 24 miles away, and it was installed and cooling within the hour!!!!!! It looks as though I will not get all my money back from WalMart.com!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
