Great poles for many types of fish. Use these mainly for bass fishing. 2nd set of these rods. Did have 1 reel on the 1st set loose the drag but I usually use different reels anyways.

get what you pay for.
the reels on this rod won't stay straight, the line easily gets tangled. have to buy another reel for the rod.

    For the money spent, this rod and reel combination is excellent. There are much more expensive options that I am sure deliver higher quality, but if you want a decent starter rode and reel, this is a great choice.
