Don't waste your time!
It says it's a Plug N Play! NO IT IS NOT! I can't even understand the instructions. They make no sense. I downloaded the media player required; it's the latest version of VLC. This CD-DVD D Drive will not play. It's going back! Not happy at all!!

    make sure what you buy.
    It wasn't any good. I didn't make sure it would go with my laptop. It won't load. I'm not sure what I am going to do with it.

    Better with windows os - not so with Mac OS.
    I've attached this to a mac and it doesn't always work. I have to plug it in and unplug it several times for it to work. However, it works well with my old windows laptop. It's ok I guess, for the price.

    Perfect dvd drive for our new computer
    This is perfect for our new computer!!! We purchased a new computer not thinking that we would need a dvd drive. Yes…..we need it for old photo downloads. This works perfectly. It is as described and portable which is perfect for other new computers we will be buying for school. It is definitely more economical to purchase this than to purchase that as an option on a mew computer.
