Great Battery
I have a Honda Goldwing and have been using the Everstart20lbs batteries for years now. They work great. Never had a failure. I read the review from the fellow with the jet ski. I had a jet ski too years ago and the pounding they take ruins batteries in short order. Don't blame the battery. For a motorcycle, this is a great battery.

GARBAGE
What junk! New build bike. Rotor, stator, and regulator all new. If the bike sits for a week battery discharges and will not crank. No parasitic drains. I have a brand new charger. It finally will not take a charge. Goes to 7.2 vdc no higher. The battery is only 3 months old. I guess you get what you pay for. VERRY DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER. DONT BUY THIS GARBAGE!

    Total garbage
Total garbage. Have 2 of them on 2 jet skis. 1 lasted 9 months and needs to be charged weekly if not used consistently.

    Good Battery
4 Years and counting. I bought this 4 years ago and it has been great. It is now showing signs of weakness but at 4 years old I will not complain. I'd buy again. The key is following the initial charging instructions.

5 almost 6 years out of mine.
I bought my Harley back in the fall or Of 2011.the battery was new when I bought the bike. Didn't even know what kind of battery it was until today. I tried starting my bike and it would only click. Tried to charge it but would only charge enough to start bike. But when I shut off and let sit for a while it would only click when I tried to start again. I bought a battery I've got good service out of in my other bikes only to find out almost 6years out of a everstart battery is pretty good! But then only to find out one of my power plug in's had corrosion in it maybe causing it to short out that was killing the battery. Got the old one on charge now to see if that's the killer.. But yes let all battery's that you have to put acid in sit for a few hours if not over night before you charge or install. Also when ever bike is not going to be used for over a week use trickle charger to keep charged. U can pick one up at Walmart or online from 10 to 20 bucks. I'm assuming that's why mine lasted so long. Not sure yet though my old one is still charging.

THIS IS MY 2nd ES20LBS PURCHASE
I have a '98 Harley FLSTC Heritage Classic. My first ES20LBS lasted 2+ years of average riding in the south Florida heat. It finally croaked and wouldn't take a charge. I tried to bring it back to life by adding some more Electrolyte...it didn't help. So went to Walmart today and bought a new one. It is VERY IMPORTANT to allow the glass mat material to absorb all of the Electrolyte after filling the new battery ( 1 hour ). After at least 1 hour has passed, its OK to then place the sealing plugs over the holes and connect your trickle charger. If you will take the time to read the owners manual that comes with this battery, it should give you 2 years of care free cranking on your scooter.

    2nd battery, 2nd failure- I don't recommend
We bought this Walmart ES20LBS as a replacement battery for our Victory Vision Tour Premium motorcycle. We used the battery for approximately six months then battery failed while traveling out of state so we brought it back to Walmart for a replacement, figuring the first failure may have just been a random fault in battery. They exchanged the defective battery with a new battery which we've had only about 2 or maybe 3 months tops and yesterday this model battery has failed again, it won't charge and has a dead cell. We wasted time, money and labor on this and can't trust it to be reliable so we won't be buying another one. We are heading to a Victory Polaris dealer about an hour away to buy a battery from them (the original Victory battery lasted over 5 years!)

    Replaced twice
I WOULD NOT recommend this battery. I am on my second one right now for my Victory Vegas Motorcycle only out of desperation. I needed a battery fast and this was the easiest way to get it at the time. The first one kept going dead on me and by the end of the riding season, would not even hold a charge. I begrudgingly bought another recently for about $104 (I've paid less for car batteries) and I am going to keep this new battery inside over the winter and see if that makes any difference. It shouldn't matter though, since my lawnmower has been sitting outside for for years and starts every season. Also there are 2 versions of this battery that the Walmart computer gave me as potential fits for my vehicle. The ES20 AND the ES16. I originally got the ES16 because I figured it was the smaller of the two. However, it was actually 1/4 inch wider than the ES20 and would not fit inside my vehicle. Crazy but that 1/4 inch made a huge difference....However Walmart DID accept the battery back even after I had activated it and exchanged it for the proper battery.. So my hat is off to them for that.

    Poor Battery
I have bought 3 of these batteries in the last 3 years for my goldwing, the last one I kept on a battery tender when not in use and it still did not last one season. I am going back to a factory battery even though it is a little more they last 3 to 4 years.

An inexpensive replacement for Harley Davidson's
Don't let the Harley dealer talk you into a Genuine HD battery as the ONLY battery for your bike. This is a marketing ploy to get you to spend the big bucks for basically the same battery as what the dealer offers, but at a reasonable EverStart price. Here is the low down on this battery, made by Yuasa, which is one of the two major manufactures who make the "Genuine HD" batteries with their specs. Battery performance is virtually like-for-like with very minor variations in the exterior appearance of the case (no HD logos, texture, etc). The dimensions of the battery are the same as OEM. Price is the only big difference. 17.5 Ah @ 10hr rate 310 CCA Replaces: 1352, 44027, 44171, 581324, 4011496, 7401890, 12V20L, 20LBS, 65989-90B, 65989-97A, 65989-97C, 65989-98C, CB18L-A-FP, FAYTX20HL, GTX20LBS, M320BS, M620BH, UTX20L-BS, WP20LBS, WPX20LBS(1), XTA20HLBS, YB18L-A, YTX20HILBS, YTX20HL-BS, YTX20HL-BS-PW, YTX20HL-PW, YTX20L-BS, YTX20LBS, YUAM620BH-P, YUEM620BH, ETX20L equivalent
