Still going after 4 years
I am going to replace my ES12BS with another one. It was in my 1997 Honda Magna 750 when I purchased it in April 2009 (in Wisconson). I rode my bike to Sturges in Aug 2010 with no problems. It has been dependable ever since. On 31Aug2013 I went to start my motorcycle and it was dead. That means at least 4.5 years. I am very satisfied as that is much longer than I expected. I took it out and put it on the trickle charger and it took 36 hours to charge. I unhooked it and then monitored it overnight and it went from 13.3 V down to 12.8 Volts. Put it back in my Magna and it seems fine. It is holding the charge but to be safe I will replace it. Over the years I would take it out and charge it before winter storage. Than put on the trickle charger every two month (long winters in Wisconsin). I am not in Seattle WA area and have had it in almost all year before it went dead. I read the bad reviews and was shocked. I will buy another one and write a review later.

Buyer beware
I purchased this battery in March of this year. It is 7 months old and no longer functioning. I have previously purchased a like battery from Walmart that did not last more than a year. I am really disappointed in Walmart warranty and product. I'll find another place to buy from.

    Terrible quality
Low quality battery. Would not hold a charge after 6 months, even though I used an AGM trickle charger. Battery only comes with a 3 month warranty and Walmart would not give any type of credit.

    It's a battery
Did not want to purchase an expensive battery this time because planning on selling the vehicle sometime in the future. Battery works great so far, just had it less than a week. It would have been nice if it had a strap like the one I took out for easier installation.

    Cheap unreliable product
I bought this battery Memorial Day, 2012, for my Kawasaki Vulcan 900. The previous battery lasted through four winters, and was usually reliable four three or four weeks with no start. This product never lasted a full week. I had to put it on the charger every weekend I used it. While de-winterizing the bike, I put the battery on the charger. Nothing happened. The battery is dead. The sign directly above the battery at Walmart says "2 year Full replacement on automotive batteries." This is not automotive. Let the buyer beware when buying this cheap, poorly made garbage.

So far, so good - after one day
Beware pricing. It's tagged at $61.47, but the cash register adds $9 "BATT CORE FE". The register receipt says "RETURN OLD BATTERY FOR PROPER RECYCLING AND REFUND OF BATTERY DEPOSIT" Nice to discover the fee, if you read your receipt. Also, the maximum charge rate is 2 Amps. Make sure you have the right charger, or enough money to buy one.
