A Good Low Cost Cleanser for Sensitive Skin.
I love Equate Beauty Gentle Skin Cleanser. I have sensitive skin, and I have to be careful what I use. It is just as good as the name brand, but only half the price. Products for sensitive skin can be pricey, so it is great that I can get Equate skin cleanser without breaking the bank. I would recommend it to everyone.

Not Comparable to Cetaphil - Caused Acne Breakout
Normally I love Equate Beauty products, because they save me so much money - but this is the one item where I would recommend buying the name brand. I've been using Cetaphil's Gentle Skin Cleanser for months as part of my acne management routine, and decided to try out Equate's version of it to save some money. However, it very quickly dried my skin out to the point of flaking, and my face broke out terribly. I suspected it might be the different brand of soap, so I switched back to Cetaphil. Within 2 days, my skin was noticeably less dry and my pimples were actually starting to heal instead of staying red and inflamed. This might be a great soap for many, but I found it to not compare to the name brand.

    Affordable and works well
I like it, I recently bought my second bottle. I'm assuming that because similar products by Equate are considered clean on the EWG skindeep database that this formula would be as well. It's affordable, works well, and doesn't leave your skin feeling dry. I appreciate that it is made without certain ingredients and is tested by a dermatologist.

    Great for dry skin!
With my dry skin, I have to use something like this daily. I love Equate products and, just like all others I've tried, this body cleanser is just as good as Ceta**il at nearly half the price.

    BEST HANDSOAP FOR SENSITIVE SKIN
EQUATE BEAUTY GENTLE SKIN CLEANER IS BEST THING I'VE EVERY USED TO WASH MY HANDS. MY HANDS BREAKOUT AND RAW AND HAVE TO USE CORTISONE CREAM TO HEAL THEM WITH ANY OTHER PRODUCT I'VE TRIED EVEN NAME BRAND. I ALSO USE ON FACE.

so perfect! it is a gel cream cleanser and it's so good and so gentle and smoothing for your skin. I was using benzoyl peroxide previously and it really agitated my skin I stopped using it and switch to salic acid but this stuff really helped heal my skin along with the equate cream of this Cetaphil check it out too cuz this is perfect and it has no scent it's fresh it's amazing and perfect for sensitive skin which is I've aged I've gotten more sensitive! I absolutely love this definitely I'm buying from now on!!

    Odd consistency. Doesn't foam.
This stuff might be gentle and dermatologic tested etc., but it is really really really watery and it doesn't seem to foam up. I don't know if it's supposed to foam or not but I'm just not really impressed with it at all. Thankfully it was fairly cheap.

    Love it
I was ecstatic when I found this. My doc recommended cetaphil for my eczema and dry skin, which works but has a hefty price. So this and decided to try. It's a great generic, works fine. I use this after washing hands to get moisture back into them. It's a soap and lotion, no need to rinse away. Love it

    Great until it wasnt.
Purchased regularly for 3-4 months, everything has been fine up until this point. Received two bottles today (11-9-21) one bottle is perfectly fine, no leaks, no smell, nothing "off" , the other is missing a significant amount of product (didn't leak, theres no product on the bottle itself, the paper inside the box, or any of the other items) and it has a strong chemical smell.

    Gentle, effective facial cleanser
This is my go-to facial cleanser that's always kind to my sensitive skin. I buy the Equate brand because it's exactly like the name brand at a lower price. I've used this for years and it's always cleansed my face gently and effectively.
