works great
works for topping off freon in the car. I do not have to go out and get my fancy gauges to do simple too offs anymore. just screw on a tank and you're ready to go!

price gouges
the hose and gauge themselves weren't too bad kind of cheap but did the job. The reason for the one star is online it says this is $13.25 and that is to pick up in store but when I get to the store to buy one it's in $19.94. why is there a $6.69 difference when I'm the one doing the leg work they're not pulling it off the shelf they're not delivering it I'm going up to the store physically myself to get it and I'm paying $6 more that don't seem right

    Allows you to use low cost R134A
    Unlike the EZCool kit, this gauge setup has a lever/valve allowing you to use the (much) lower cost generic R143a cans. This is the way you want to do it.

    Buy this for the self sealing cans.
    I put in 4 self-sealing cans of 134a into my car with this hose and gauge, worked great. I twice bought the plastic adaptor for my old style hose and they both broke so stick with this one.

    Needle on gauge never goes above 25 psi
    The gauge reading is very inaccurate on the one I bought. I pulled a 500 micron vacuum on the system and verified there were no leaks as it held at 500 microns for over an hour. Filled with 24 oz and the gauge was reading 25 psi. Added 12 more oz and the gauge was still reading 25. That's not right. Checked the specs for the car and it was supposed to be 26 oz. Checked my other vehicles and they all read 25. Everything read 25. I used 2 other gauges and they all read 42 psi which was correct given the ambient temperature was in the mid 70s at the time. Went back to the car I was working on and with the other gauges, it was reading 55 psi which means I was significantly overfilled. I'm mvac certified so I had to grab my recovery machine and recovery tank and evacuate 10 oz of refrigerant. This time I use my R134a gauge set to measure the pressure and it's 42 psi. I hadn't used it originally as I didn't have the correct fitting to handle these new valve style cans plus it's a pain to have to recover all that refrigerant in 18 ft of hose. It's much easier to just use a short hose with gauge attached to the can to do a basic car refrigerant fill.

    EZ Chill equals EZ fix
    Recharging my A/C unit was easier to do than expected. The instructions was simple to follow and takes less the 30 minutes to finish for me. Once you determine that a low refrigerant is the reason for your car not cooling, fixing this issue with EZ Chill Recharge was straightforward and manageable.

    Hose is a Bit Short
    Was able to tell me that my vehicles did not have a refrigerant leak for far less than other methods and without buying R134a. it is a bit awkward because of the short hose though.

    Much Better Than an Adapter for my Old Style Hose
    Worked great! Wished I hadn't tried an adapter for my old style hose, first. Lost the seal charge kit. It would have worked fine if I had bought this first. Don't try to save a few dollars!

    A Great Buy ! The Ideal A/C Charge Hose !
    This has worked perfectly for me to service my cars at home with. The only thing that would have been nice is if the hose had been two inches longer but it has worked fine. It works on both type of cans so that has been great as well.
