Best bottle for preventing or reducing colic
I received this bottle to try and my baby loves it. Swallows much less air than when drinking from other bottles. Colic has greatly reduced. Able to feed without having to hold the bottle a certain way only. Easy to clean and took to the nipple of this bottle right away.

Leaking
The absolute worst bottle I have ever used and I have 3 kids, so I have used quite a few. This one is by far the worst. During a nighttime feeding I wasn't paying attention while my baby was eating and I look down and she is SOAKED in Breastmilk. Complete waste of money!

    Baby took the bottles easily BUT….
    No issues with my baby taking the bottle. Went with these because every single doctor recommended them. I use them without the vent system. I first used the glass wide neck, then polypropylene wide neck because my carpal tunnel couldn't handle the weight. However, I always have to be super careful about screwing the lids on super tightly so they don't randomly leak. But the biggest negative issue was that almost half of the nipples become covered in a cloudy, slightly sticky and slimy film within a day of washing them — the outside, not the inside. Over half are clear but the rest are not. I always wash immediately, I always scrub with a brush, and sanitize them various ways (boiling & dishwasher) after rinsing, scrubbing with hot soapy water and the cloudy film STILL comes back. Using with breastmilk almost always, with a bottle of formula probably once every couple days but it doesn't matter, either way it keeps on happening. At this point, I've thrown away 2 nipples so far and have 4 more just sitting on my counter (after washing/scrubbing/sanitizing multiple times to see and test how it'll go away.. which it doesn't), which was fine at first because the set I bought came with so many, but now it's a frustrating and gross issue. Why?! :(

    Love this bottle!
    Dr. Brown's gave me this bottle to try and my sweet girl LOVED it! We ready use the 8oz standard bottle so she took to these wide options + with no problem! She actually seemed to love holding these wider ones on her own better! The contoured middle helped her.

    Must Have.
    Dr Brown sent me this for free for my honest review. I really like this bottle.The design and the feel of this bottle.Its narrow which is easy to hold.As the baby gets older its a easy bottle for them to hold. It allows less gas in the baby's tummy which makes for less spitting up.Easy clean up even tho it has a couple more pieces to clean than a average bottle.This is a really nice bottle.I love it its the only bottle we use now.

    Mixed feelings
    I love the vent system Dr Brown's offers, but like others I have had issues with leaking, even with the original bottles. Dr Brown's has a sort of troubleshooting guide for leaks, and that usually works to solve the problem for me, but I feel like they should be a little more user friendly from the get. My biggest problem is that when I washed the bottles prior to the first use, the label and measuring lines started coming off like crazy. I didn't do anything different than I normally do. A gentle wash with soap and warm water and the Dr Brown's bottle brush. For me, the benefits outweigh the issues, but I would recommend the original bottle to a friend with a few pointers.

    Awesome Nipple
    what i like about this bottle was the extra big bottle and flexible nipple,what i didnot like was the Leaking from the cap could not finish his feeding i can see him using this when he start holding his own bottle it will fix his chubby fingers,just fix the cap and this would be a awesome bottle would recommend IF the cap was fix!Thanks

    Options bottles
    I started using Dr. Brown with the 2oz newborn. My husband and I loved them so much, we bought the 4 oz bottles and later upgraded to the 8oz options bottles. Everything was great at first, now the caps do not work to prevent leaking. I travel with bottles and there is milk everywhere when I take the bottle out. Very annoying!!! The bottle leaked all over my baby bag. I wish these bottles came with travel caps so I could prevent leaks in the future. I would stay away from options bottle and just buy t ye original, but I will definitely continue with the Dr. Brown brand because my baby burps within 2 minutes every time I burp her.

    Leaks!!
    I had my baby exactly a month ago, (He's My First) and he only takes this brand because he latches on the nipple way much better than the other ones. So I had bought 6 more bottles and that's all he uses. Exactly two weeks ago, then I had few of them that started to leak, and now they all leak. This is the only down fall I have with these bottles, which is pretty frustrating because I they are pretty expensive.
