If smelling like Irish Spring soap is what it is trying to imitate than job well done, both bottles went directly to the garbage pail

It removes oils and odor, all the while without drying out your skin. Afterwards it leaves this amazing scent that is pleasant to smell. It's not overpriced, (I guess that depends on where you shop, however, this product was given to me to evaluate, so just shop around). I, personally don't care for the bar soap, especially pricey bar soap at about 5 or 6 dollars each. After you soap up with it, you then washes it off and watch it go down the drain. Say bye, bye. I have dry skin but i found that the Dove Men Care Body and Face Wash really works for me. It is mild, the scent is mild and it irritate my skin at all. Oh yeah, there a big bonus in this product, you can wash your face and hair too. One stop shop in a bottle. Wow, just simply amazing, right. I like this product so much that I actually went out and purchased a bottle so I would not run out.soso4real

The bottle is not translucent, and so the content cannot be easily seen. I guess you can pick it up and know how much liquid is remaining. The gel's color is green, and has a scent that men like. Obviously, this product is for men only. I received this product in winter months. Usually I would buy moisturizing body wash during the winter months. This product has the word “micro moisture” on the label. I do not know what that means. It does not feel anything different from ordinary body wash that does not have “moisturizing” on the label. But it is not the same moisturizing type body wash I would normally buy at winter months. Anyway, I use a lot of body lotion after shower, and so it does not really matter that much whether the body wash is moisturizing or not. I found the product very pleasing and very satisfying. The scent is not too strong. The bottle is big and does not tip over easily. The pump is very convenient. I would recommend this product to men only. On a scale of 1 to 100, I give it a 95.Oliver1001

The refreshing scent lingers on your skin hours after your shower, becoming the first line of resistance to any sweat-induced odor. Although intended for men, the scent is not reminiscent of overwhelming body sprays designed for adolescent prom goers. Instead, the nature conjuring scent can be enjoyed by women too. If using a loofah seems extraneous to you, be comforted that the body/face wash liquid can be lathered sufficiently by hand. However, I have always erred on the safer side of using gentler cleansing liquids for the face. Test to make sure that this face wash is not too harsh for you, stripping your skin of essential oils that will need to be replenished. Please note that it is not exactly intuitive to initially open and operate the hand pump. It required several frustrating twists before finally working.Saruman

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser11/25/2014New Favorite Body / Face Wash!!!My husband was reluctant to try this body + face wash because many face washes dry his skin out & even though body washes claim to be very moisturizing many aren't; he usually applies oils after showers to try to retain moisture for his very dry skin. The first time he tried dove he really could notice a big difference. The scent is very nice, it's not to over powering like a lot of fragrances. He didn't use the body oils to see if it lived up to what it claimed & his skin was so soft! Not only that from the first time he used it he could tell his face was very soft as well. He has been using it for over a week now & is still raving about it. I LOVE that we don't have to buy a separate body wash, face wash & the oils anymore! Dove replaces all of that!!Brandie28
