Great Purchase!
I'm 65 and a woman! I wanted a new recliner for the den for myself. The old one was a massaging chair (with vibration options) with a foot stool that was separate. I was sick of having to pull the foot stool close to the chair. The chair did recline, but . . .l So I researched (online) reclining massage chairs: Lazyboy, etc., but all were $800 to $2,000. Then I found this one at the WalMart website and just went for it . My husband set it up within 5 minutes and it works great! The color was perfect (not too gold; just a nice neutral tan). For the $249, it's a steal. I love the fabric - very soft. It's the perfect size for me: I'm 5'6" and 190#. It was a little short for my husband at 6' and 180#, but he agreed it was so comfortable and just wide enough for his skinny body and long enough for him to be comfortable. Hope this helps.

Very Cheaply Made
The recliners are a cheaper recliner at a cheaper price. That is a "get what you pay for" product but when they start breaking down within 5 months and the foot rest looks like it has a bar, board or something missing, well that just makes me really irritated. I personally would not want anyone else buy these being they are as cheap as they are made.

    RELAXING for Back, Really Comfortable!
    The Recliner is AMAZING, The size is Accurate and able to sit 200 lbs and a child as well.My granddaughter(5 yrs old) sits with me in it. The assembly took all of 8 minutes. The structure is well done very sturdy. The Color is true to the description. The pocket for the massage is being used for the TV remote which is a added plus! The reclining is much better than expected. It reclines enough to actually sleep in as I did the first night, My bad back is Soo much better with the Recliner!!! The price was AMAZING!! THANKS Walmart and the Company that made the Recliner!! I will definitely be telling others.

    Great recliner, don't order more than 1 at a time
    So, I've had these recliners for a few months and now feel I can properly review them. First, these recliners are great (with a few caveats, see below). I ordered two in the same order (don't do that, see below). They came well packed, easy to unpack and easy to assemble. They are well made, the microfiber is a good thickness and all is well sewn together. They are sturdy and I can tell they will last a good long while. That said, I'm 5'5" and 250 pounds and my daughter is 5'10" and thin. We're comfortable in these recliners but a heavier/taller person might not be. The lever that brings the footrest up and down is easy to bring up but a bit of a bear to bring back down. An infirm or not especially strong person may have problems with that. The massage is more of a vibrate and it's loud, we don't use it. Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy with these recliners. Given the otherwise good quality, these are just minor caveats/irritants. What really was irritating - and why I'm not giving the five stars - is that they did not come at the same time and follow-up customer support was lacking. I ordered them in plenty of time to arrive before Thanksgiving. One arrived on time, the other took more than a month. My main take-away from many phone calls with Hayneedle, the manufacturer, is that their front line help desk is not empowered to do very much beyond telling me to wait to see if the second would turn up on its own. One help desk person pretended he couldn't hear me (uh, my man, if you couldn't hear me, why did you very politely wait until I stopped talking to say you couldn't hear me?), presumably to get me off his phone because he knew he couldn't help me. The front line help desk folks didn't share a terrible lot with me but they did mention that having more than one recliner in a single order was causing problems. It was two weeks before I got bumped up to slightly more empowered help desk folks and even they told me to please give it a bit more time before I c/would be transferred to other help desk folks who could actually do anything. The second recliner did eventually show up (I wish I could tell you what was done to make that come to pass), and in time for Christmas, too; which was great. So, I love these recliners. If I had it to do over again, I'd order the pair in separate orders. I have no idea why that makes any difference but it apparently does. Happy shopping!

    Customer service was very helpful and prompt. They helped tract the recliner. Recliner was delivered as ordered. Delivery was well organized, they called from freight company a few days before to confirm we would be home. Recliner was exactly as pictured and very comfy! Thank you Hayneedle

    Very comfortable for an average size individual.
    I LOVE IT!! This recliner chair is perfect and very comfortable! It was quicker putting together than taking it out the box; just slide and snap the back part and connect the message remote wires together, then you're good to go. I'm 5'4" 203 lbs, my son is 5'11" 180 lbs and we are both able to sit with ease in the chair whenever we each use the chair. The chair is NOT ideal for a heavier sized person.

    Comfortable but load
    If you are looking for a smaller recliner that is comfortable, this is a good choice. However, if you arr looking specifically for a massage recliner I would consider spending a bit more for a higher quality chair. This is a great recliner for the price but the "massage" mechanism is just a VERY loud vibration.

What a great bargain this comfortable, well constructed chair this is! I don't think you will be disappointed in your purchase of this chair and it's massage benefits - what a plus!!!

    Sooo happy with my purchase
    Sooo happy! Made the right choice! Ok so i m pregnant and wanted a glider at first but then i was like .. to have a good one and big enaugh and comfortable it is way too much expensive! So i read a loooot of reviews and found this one! Also many women will say that having glider/rocker with ottoman is not really necessary and that a recliner is better and again much cheaper at least bying this one! I'm 5,5 and my husband is 5,11 and both of us are more than comfortable ( we bith rest our neck nicely)It does rock nicely too and full recline which is soo nice and absolutely easy to use not like some people here have mentioned or maybe i just got lucky with mine! One con which is not important to me .. it does make too much noise for the vibration so i wont be using it but anyway i didn t buy it for this so i m still 100% happy with my recliner! About the color .. yeah i would have liked a grey one but the tan is ok. Also, know that it is a bit darker than what it looks in the picture. I can see me with my future baby or even with my toddler rocking and get to sleep anytime soon! Also i m pretty sure my husband will enjoy it even by himself lol hopefully not too much! Really happy...too bad i didnt buy this before!

    Great Rocker and Recliner
    We love this chair. The price was a Black Friday price and it was great! It arrived in about a week even with a horrible sleet, snow and winter storm across the country. The box fit easily in the back of our SUV. It was easily removed from the packaging, packaged very well, and put together in about 10 minutes from the start of opening the box. It has a massage feature that is a little loud to me, but I'm not used to a massaging chair. The controller for the massage is nicely placed on the side of the chair for ease of use. I absolutely LOVE the fabric on this chair! I have extremely sensitive skin due to health problems, and the fabric feels great on my skin. It's not a huge chair, but it fits my over 6 ft., 260 lb. husband just fine. I also love the material inside the chair. When you rest your head, it's fully supported, and the material conforms to your neck, so there is no uncomfortable space behind your neck, leaving your head in a bad position. It's just an extremely comfortable chair, and for the price it was a steal. We will definately buy another one of these chairs to match even if the cost has gone up.
