An air conditioner that does the job
I set the Danby Portable Air Conditioner into action for my bedroom 2 days after delivery. It was just in time for another 'heat warning' here. It was very effective for my bedroom, 93+ sq. ft. But it is ineffective for the Living area of kitchen, bathroom and hallway.

Don't recommend
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This unit is so noisy! Sounds like an old washing machine on the drain cycle. Pieces don't fit together well for the window connection. Had to use tape to make them fit properly. For the price we paid, and for being a good brand, we are so disappointed.

    Danby 13000 BTU is Sophisticated
    The Danby 13000 BTU has proven to be a good machine to work with. It is intuitive, works well with atmospheric changes. New owners should read instructions mindfully as it has a lot to offer. You could say it has a sophisticated operating system and well worth the time to take it all in.
