Fantastic easel for beginners
So pleased with the easel. I got this for my creative 10 yr old granddaughter, she watched her dad set it up one time and she knew easily then how to expand the legs and lock them and place the bar at the desired level, also love that it is portable and came with carrying case. Fantastic purchase and it was a major hit and such a great bargain online through Walmart.

Damaged Merchandise Sent
This easel came packed in a box with 6 pairs of pj's. The easel box was smashed, and retapped, as though it was used or a return. To be a gift and unacceptable!

    Works great for me indoors, tabletop or outside. Has handy carrying/storage bag to keep it in, easy to travel with. Fully adjustable to any height to the length of the legs.

    I'm happy with it so far.
    This is my first easel, as I just took up painting, so take that into consideration. Its very versatile. You can adjust it to use from a table, or while standing or sitting. The Iinstructions were just drawings, no words, and for me not helpful. With a little trial and effort I figured it out exept for the velcro. Still dont get what it's for. I painted from sitting, and no complaints. There's a clamp at the top to hold your canvas in place. This is a great value in my newbies opinion.

    I love the idea that this is so portable and comes with it's own tote. The features are really great too. It is flexible to the point that I can use it on a table or floor stand. And I can use a very large canvas as well.

    Good product, good value.
    This easel is very lightweight and very portable. It's a snap to fold up or set up. Folded up and put in it's carry bag it takes up very little room. I actually use it as a holder for my dry erase board and it works well for that. There were only a few reasons why I didn't give this a five star rating. (1) It seems a tad flimsy, possibly because it's so lightweight. I've had it a couple of weeks and I use it everyday. So far it's held up well. (2) No instructions were included. I mean, it doesn't take rocket science to put it together, but I would have liked at least a larger picture to compare. As it is, all you have are the pictures on the box. It still didn't take long to assemble (it is only a few pieces), but I had a few moments of frustration when I couldn't initially figure it out. :) Overall, I am happy with the purchase and would buy it again. It suits my purposes nicely.

    Great lightweight easel
    I love this easel and want two more. My local store only had one more in stock, and I snapped it up. (I shop a lot on Amazon, but I was surprised these are actually cheaper at Wal Mart.) I like working on several paintings at once, and having these easy-to-adjust easels adds convenience. They are light and easy to move yet study enough for a serious painter. I even found that this extra easel will securely hold my Kindle when I am painting at another easel from a reference photo on the Kindle. Simply remove the middle bar that normally would support the back of the painting by sliding it up and out. Insert the bar through the metal loop on the back edge of the black metal piece that normally supports the bottom of the painting, then slide the bar back into place. You can adjust it to hold any size phone or tablet or other reference photo securely without danger of it falling. These are great easels and a super buy!

    Great product
    This is a great easel for the price. I like the tray that comes with it so that something small like an 8x10 photo can be placed on the easel. Also, there is a gadget at the top to hold your work in place so that it won't fall off. I am very pleased with this purchase.
