Amazing for $$
Bought this for me and my husbands first apartment. I can't believe how comfortable it is! I've never had a comfortable mattress before and I can actually sleep on this without waking up during the night. I'm a side, back and stomach sleeper and they are all comfortable with this mattress. Not to mention it came in a tiny 5ft tall box and fully expanded within three hours. I know it's not the VERY BEST mattress but if you have a budget, this is a really really awesome mattress for the price and convenience!

Comfortable and affordable
The mattress is very comfortable. It does tend to shift a few inches after several days of getting in and out of it as I only use one side of the bed and it is a king. I do notice that my impression is forming in the surface over time and I fear it will affect the beds appearance. For the price it is acceptable. In 2006 I bought a Stearns and Foster mattress for $1500 that was supposed to last 25 years. I was lucky to get six years out of it. So for the price I paid for this one, if I have to replace it in five years I am satisfied. The memory foam tends to keep me warmer than a regular mattress. This may be a problem for some people but I am always cold so it works well for me.

    As expected.
Got the twin size. Does not have any odor. It's comfortable. The surface feels odd the first time laying on it but the feeling passes quickly. The new foam technology feels better than the memory foam and I have sleep over many densities of memory foam toppers for 20 yrs

Easy set up and VERY comfortable
We took a chance and bought the Queen size sight unseen just going by reviews that were posted. The bed arrrived within 48 hrs of purchase for a minimal shipping charge. (Like under $5.00 to Phoenix) The shipping box weighed in at 80+ lbs. and was pretty beat up which made me wonder what the bed would look like. We watched the video on the website regarding unpacking and set-up and it REALLY did what it showed on the video. We had an initial concern about smell based on some reviews but there was zero detectable odor when the plastic came off. It expanded fully within a day and we slept on it within 8 hours of unpacking it. It is a very comfortable bed that is soft with very good underlying support. There is no noticeable heat retention as I have experienced with prior memory foam products, I don't know if that is from the bamboo cover or something within the mattress. I'm glad we opted for the 12" as I'm not sure the support and durability would be the same for an 8" or 10" mattress. Just a guess. I can only speak for the Queen size and it gets a thumbs up. We did pay a little more than some other brands, but so far it has been worth the price.

    Great mattress for the price
I was very hesitant to buy a MATTRESS from Walmart??? And online??? And without any previous knowledge of the product. After reading several reviews we decided to give it a try. The mattress arrived in a timely manor (sooner than expected) and was shipped in a 3'x2' box. Once opened, the mattress began to expand and in a days time was at its full size (same as the mattress it was replacing). There was no harsh smell as some reviewers had claimed. COMFORT As far as comfort, the mattress is firm, which is standard for most memory foam mattresses that I've seen. I love the mattress. I am 6'1", 240 lbs, the mattress is very comfortable and conforms to me. My wife on the other hand is much smaller and doesn't particularly care for the mattress because of the firmness. Over all I believe the mattress is a great deal for the price. I'm curious to see how well it holds up over time.

    contura III mattress 12"
My brothers and I pitched in and got our parents this mattress as an early Christmas gift and they really enjoy it. They haven't been able to get much sleep and have been waking up in pain and my mother usually sleeps in a chair, but since My brothers and I got them this mattress they really love it. My dad said that he didn't want to get up out of bed because it was so comfortable and my mothers hasn't complained either and she no longer sleeps in a chair. I am glad we were able to help buy them something they needed to help them sleep better at night. I would recommend this to anyone and especially because it is a foam mattress (no springs) like a regular mattress and you don't have to worry about bed bugs or lumps in the bed where you can feel the springs coming through. This is truly a comfortable mattress. I am sitting on it right now typing this message and boy does it feel good.

    Satisfied customers
Before buying the Contra III, my husband and I were able to test several name brand mattresses. We visited local mattress stores asked many question. I spend several hours on the internet researching pros and cons. I, finally, made the decision to order from Walmart, knowing I could return it if we were not satisfied. The mattress arrived, we followed the instruction, and were able to sleep on it that evening. My husband wasn't as pleased with the mattress as me. His complaint was that he couldn't sit on the edge of the bed without sliding off. I don't have that problem. We used our previous box springs and frame. We have only had the mattress for two weeks, but we both agree we have slept better than we did on our pillowtop extremely expensive mattress that we had for 13 years.

My only regret is we waited so long.
Our Contura III arrived at the store in 3 days. We'd needed a new mattress for a while but put it off because to get another queen mattress we would have to have taken the window out again in the turn of the steps, to bring it in from the outside on a ladder. So the shipping size of the Contura was a definite plus because it would fit up our narrow steps on the inside. When we unpacked it, it swelled to most of its queen size in less than an hour. Then the fun began! When I first tried it out, I was transported back to when I was a kid playing on my parents' bed... rolling..."swimming"... flopping ...back stroking...just having a "giddy-in-the-head" ball!! It is better than comfortable. It is luscious! We noticed the "heat thing" but it was nothing our regular air conditioner setting couldn't offset!! My husband has always bragged, he could "sleep anywhere," but everyday this man of few words marvels at how good sleeping on the new mattress is. My only regret is we waited so long.

Best Mattress I Ever Slept On!
After sleeping on iffy spring mattresses for years I decided to research these memory foam mattresses I had been hearing about.I found This one to be the most promising and with it being 12 inches thick and having a 20 year warranty I figured, why not?I could alway's return it if unsatisied.I ordered the twin size site to store. The mattress is rolled up inside heavy plastic which is rolled up inside a box.The box felt like it weighed about 35 lbs and about 4 ft in length.Because it comes rolled up you will have no trouble transporting it.Now this is the twin size mind you.I could easily fit it in the back seat of my pt cruiser.A friend of mine did buy the queen size and she said she easily fit it in the back of her suv. After taking it outside of the box and unrolling it from the packing plastic I layed it on top of my bed frame. You need to have either a box spring or a thick, sturdy cut of wood to support the mattress.I use hickory which is cheap and stronger that was cut to fit my bed frame because I am through with springs.Wood is so much better then a box spring.Anyway you unroll the matrress so it can breath and expand.Mine expanded pretty fast.In just one hour it was 8 inches thick.6 hours latter it was 11 inches thick.I was sleepy and it looked and felt good enough to sleep in and so I went to bed.The next morning I woke up refreshed and the usuall morning back ache was not there.Past the first morning test.Later that day when I got home from work the mattress grew some more.It was now 12 inches thick. The mattress was supposed to take anywhere from 24-48 hours to fully expand and for me it was much faster.I did not smell anything stinky like some others have stated. It is a foam mattress and that is what it smells like, foam. One word of advice...the mattress comes with a bamboo cover which is waterproof and repells dust mites and of the like.It is not a sheet. It is a mattress protector.Treat it as you would a mattress pad. They don't have to be washed all the time like sheets.Every couple months should do it.It is a thick mattress so you will need deep pocket sheets or you could use a double size sheet. The bamboo cover is zippered on so taking it off and on can be trying but it's doable. The bamboo cover itself is also another reason why I bought the mattress.Bamboo bedding is pricey! So not only do you get a comfortable mattress, you get a top notch mattress protector which is waterproof, mite proof, and allergen proof!Sleeping on this is like sleeping on a fluffy cloud that craddles you.I hav'nt had a good nights sleep like this since I was a small child with no cares in the world.I can't believe people actually stated this mattress was too firm. How can foam be firm?It is also not too soft.I had no problem getting out of bed or sitting on the edge putting on my shoes in the morning. This bed is just right.Don't like it?Get a full refund then.Either way you won't be loosing money, just sleep. It has been a few weeks and I sleep better than I ever have. It's worth giving it a try....
