I ordered this rug for outside my back door, BUT it slides! Instead of returning the item, I had some anti-slip mesh that I have used under other rugs - and I super glued the mesh to the back of the rug. So far, even in the rain, the mesh had held and no one has slipped. We do not get snow, so I don't know how this solution might work in frigid weather. The rug is very thin and does not clean shoe soles well before entering the house. I would not order it again

    Beautiful and functional!
    This is exactly what we were looking for in a rug. Our tiled sunroom also serves as an office. We put this under the rolling desk chair to smooth the ride over tile and to bring color to the room. It is perfect for this purpose - not too thick and closed weave so rolling over it doesn't cause unusual wear patterns. As mentioned by others, lays flat very quickly.
