Great tent!
I have seen this tent at different parks over the years and always liked the cabin style, ive always had a dome style tent. I camp alone (well with ny two dogs), my husband doesnt do “tent camping” so its usually with the dogs and girls. I finally broke down and bought this tent. 1st time setting it up, i was a little disappointed with my choice due to the fact it took me 1/2 hour to set up alone! I disassembled it in less time. A week later i took it out and set up again on my on and got it down to 15 minutes alone. I LOVE this tent! I did spray all the seams with water repellent, and spray the rain fly. The tent is roomy, i went from a 6 person to an 8 person tent. It feels huge! My first adventure is next week, i cant wait!

Poles snapped and bent second time using
There separate poles shattered from the wind our second time ever using this tent. No other tents at the campground broke since the wind wasn't even THAT crazy. So so mad.

Roomy Tent, Leak Issues with Door
The good: Super roomy. I'm 6'3" and can stand up in all areas. Lots of windows and ventilation. The "tub" style bottom is an absolute must for me going forward on any tent and really helps to keep water from coming in around the floor seams. The closet is also a nice touch though time will tell if that gets a lot of use. The gotchas: The design of the rigid door creates a lot of tension on the seams and in my case allowed water to come through the bottom stitching when rain pooled against the outside rain flap. About 30 minutes of light rain was enough to make this happen. Might just be a bad unit off the line but seems more like a design issue. 2nd, the directions are like an ikea-esque pictogram puzzle and woefully insufficient. After figuring it out and getting it all together once you'll good to go, but I feel I should mention it as some details of assembly are omitted entirely. These include steps like the 50/50 choice of orientation for the side polls that if you don't get right before you get to adding the rainfly will have to disassemble and put the tent back together correctly. ...in the rain. Ask me how I know.

    BEST BUY EVER!!!!!
I bought this tent and it is amazing! I really could not be any happier with it. I took it out this weekend for the first time and while we were camping there was a flash flood. We stayed dry the whole time!! The set up was super easy and COLOR coded!! Made it so easy. I love love love the closet. It did leak a little from the closet but this rain was crazy in Utah this weekend. I couldn't be any more happier with this tent. It is spacious and it will fit my family perfectly! We got 2 queen size air mattresses in it. I couldn't wait to write this review. Best buy ever!!

Survived High Winds - Not waterproof
Putting it up was not as quick and easy as they suggest but it did go up and it wasn't too complicated. I did put it up myself. It's not something I'd do at night or in windy weather. We had some pretty high winds and the tent did not rip, although it did bend in on all sides a bit (I had to tie the front out to some trees to keep it from bending in completely). Also, the floor puffs up in windy weather (even though I had all 4 corners staked down). I don't think it's waterproof because I can see little specs of daylight through the wall material. It also had a small tear at the bathtub floor wall. The swing door is nice but it's difficult to zip up; also, forget about it in windy weather, it will blow in or open.... it has to be zipped if there is any wind. The color and space are nice and although I didn't want or need the closet, it's a handy. I would buy the tent again, but not for rainy weather. OH, and I LOVE all the windows... that's the main reason I bought it.

    Not worth the money!
Everyone giving this tent 5 stars must have been paid to do so. I have at least 8 different tents if different sizes by Ozark trail or other companies. This is only my 2nd tent by Coleman. I agree with those who have mentioned the poor quality. Let's see where should I start? Oh how about the fact that right out of the box one of the fiberglass pole cords was torn and the poles were all disconnected! Thankfully I opened this the day before going camping instead of trusting their quality control. I've always set up tents before needing them just to see how they go, never to make sure they actually aren't broken etc. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! Since I'm an avid camper and can repair just about anything, I was able to make do for my trip, but I brought a back up. I wanted the bigger tent for the size and headroom. Clearly, Coleman has diminished in quality as regular users of their products have stated. The stitching of the tent all the way around is horrible. This absolutely would not last an entire camping season without tearing up. Especially for a family and not just for a couple of adults. Next, the hinged door is an absolute travesty and joke! It's nearly impossible to get the poles to even go in their slots and then, once assembled the door just stays open and has to be forced closed. Second, keeping the zipper from snagging the flaps EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU OPEN OR CLOSE IT is another bit of frustration!! I mean no matter how much I held the flaps out of the way, it would still snag somewhere and you're standing there fighting to get out of the tent. Worse ever! I'm not lying when I say I HAVE NEVER HAD A TENT ZIPPER SNAG LIKE THIS EVERY SINGLE TIME! Either the velcro would get in the way, or the flaps inside or out would bite! It's more frustrating than it's worth. Returning it immediately!

    Spacious, Comfortable
We liked it a lot. It was easy to asamble and disassemble. The closet keeps your things out of the way. To make sure it was complete we set it up in our living room, the kids has a blast camping inside.

    Get it!
We love this tent. We had a queen and full size air mattress and still had space for our stuff. Super spacious! Can't wait to get more use out of this next year.

    Lots of room inside!
We had a queen size mattress, 2 twin mattresses and a cot inside the tent. The door was big enough to get the queen size mattress through. The closet was a nice bonus for backpacks and shoes. The tent was easy to put up too.

    Beware of wind!
I liked how roomy it was. We had a double high queen air mattress and plenty of room for the 2 of us. Setting up was fairly easy but putting the two front poles in was TIGHT and I was afraid they would break. Hubby is going to cut about a half inch off for ease. They way it is the front two corners is very strained and the stitching is pulled. Easy fixes. BUT it did not hold up in 24mph winds. A storm hit in the middle of the night and the side started flapping hard, the two side poles rotated in and the only reason the tent stayed put was hubby anchored the corners with spiral posts into the ground 8". As it was we had to anchor the tip corners to our car to hold the corner posts. It was fine once the winds died down again.
