Order size down, great skates!
Beautifulllll skates! Came on time through walmart shipping and in perfect condition. I wear size 8.5 typically for shoes and checked the reviews... definitely order a size down! I got an 8 and they fit just right with a litte wiggle room. Nice long laces and stiff material to help not roll ankles. Perfect skates for my first time rolling skating since being a kid!

Check the wheels!!!
Double and triple check the wheels. A near catastrophic event occurred as the wheels came undone while skating. I am questioning the safety of these skates and the quality of craftsmanship.

    they're working fine and they're doing what they're supposed to be but they're not lightweight. The price is quite high.. I suggest that before going to walmart look for Boathouse or Zumiez first. Overall its working fine.

    Runs big :( i got the wrong size
    The skates run big I'm usually 8.5 but when things run whole sizes i go to a 9, which was a mistake this time, it runs wayy tooo big. Silly me in a rush to get me some skates before they sell out again, i literally been trying to get some about 2years but they are always sold out. But yeah so by me being in a rush when they restocked the other day i forgot to read the reviews like i usually do and got a 9 instead of going down to an 8. ( sad face) :(

    1st thing...they do run big...i wear a women's size 8 and before i ordered i looked at the reviews and ordered a size 7 and it fits perfectly! Actually still has room but very comfortable with a nice thick pair of socks! 2nd...the tool worked great to loosen the wheels 3rd...Dont listen to the negative comments...these skates are great! No issues at all...wheels are good and stopper is not cheap plastic and is adjustable! FINAL...these Chicago Skates were a steal! 49 bucks plus tax and FREE shipping and got them in less than a week! I feel like a kid again! ALL SMILES HERE!

    Skates: Everything I Was Hoping For, Good Price
    I bought these skates because the ball bearings fell out of my other ones and it was cheaper to buy these new than to buy ball bearings or new wheels for my OLD skates. I ordered a size 7 and an 8, SITE TO STORE. I wear size 8, but based on reviews, thought they might be too big. I ended up returning the 7 and KEEPING MY SIZE 8. (The 7 felt like it was rubbing on the top of my foot.) They are a little roomy, but I doubled my socks to skate the 1st time and they felt very comfortable. I thought the wheels might be too tight, so I brought along the skate key they include. I didn't bother loosening the wheels. They were just fine for speed and control. I even entered the adult "race" my first time out. I came in 4th to inline skaters, but I was happy enough! The WHEEL COLOR VARIES. The one I kept has BRIGHT PINK wheels. The size 7 wheels were a DULLER PINK, like they were faded in the sun. THEY WERE EVERYTHING I HOPED FOR, for a reasonable price. I love skating with my kids and RENTAL SKATES FEEL HORRIBLE. SEE PHOTO

    Love My Skates
    Well i have been dying to get some skates in hope for exercise purposes and i came across these and decided to buy them since they were really cheap. After reading the reviews i did become skeptical to buy them. But i did anyway. I took the advice from the reviews and brought the skates a size smaller than my shoe size which is an 8, so i ordered 7. I do wish that i had ordered my regular size bcuz they are snug. i want to be able to wear big socks and i cannot. ORDER UR REGULAR SIZE! Otherwise the skates are great. i wear them outside and they are wonderful. Even my mother got in on the action.! PRICELESS.! & now she's ordering some. BTW turning 21 soon...& i love my skates.! I plan to skate around campus fall semester. catch me if u can!

    I haven't been skating since the 80's and I needed a new pair of skates. I didn't want to spend the high price from the rink before knowing if I would actually use the skates regularly. These skates were perfect for getting back into roller skating. Once I get the more expensive skates that I am used to I will keep these skates for outdoor skating. I did replace the wheels and the bearings because I am used to a certain kind of wheel and bearing. I would recommend these skates to anyone just getting back into skating or just beginning!
