Balanced Nutrition for Diabetics
I have Type 2 diabetes controlled with medications, diet and exercise (no insulin). I have found this produce to be a great addition to my diet plan when I need a quick meal to get me through to the next snack or meal time. This is a very flavorful drink with no after taste like so many reduced nutritional drinks.

I recieved this product to try. I was not impressed with the taste. Some people may like it but I didn't like it . I thought it tasted different I would have liked it if had been chocolate. Ut I just didn't like it

    Delicious and filling
    I have such a weakness for carbs, and bagels are my idea of a filling breakfast on a work day. I've been trying to eat healthier lately and cutting the carb filled breakfasts seemed a good place to start. I haven't had these in a long time but they are just as good as I remember them being. I had a mixed berry this morning and it was sweet and filling. I look forward to enjoying them on my ride to work!

    These carnation drinks are perfect for on the go. They have a great flavor. They are a little chalky but not as bad as i expected. My son really enjoyed them. We are excited to try other flavors! They provide all the extra nutrients he needs! They have 10 g of protein!

    I got this Carnation Breakfast Essentials Mixed Berry flavor 8oz bottle to try out. I hardly ever eat breakfast but thought okay I will try this drink. I have to say it's very good. It has a milky texture and the berry flavor explodes in your mouth. It has 10 grams of protein, total fat is just 4 grams. Theres no artifical flavors, colors or sweeteners. I would recommend this drink for anyone.

This has as much calcium as a 6oz cup of yogurt, 100 percent daily value of antioxidant vitamin C, 21 vitamins & minerals, 10g of protein as stated. No artificial flavors, colors, or sweeteners. Vitamin D. Serving size on this bottle is 8fl Oz. This particular flavor smells fruity- nice. Taste like cereal milk- which I love. No grainy texture & smooth. You can taste the fruits as you drink it. Does have a carbs. 41g Perfect for on the go running, when you don't have time to cook or anything. Especially for working moms & dads. Ensuring you get what you need for the morning boost. They have many different flavors. I have enjoyed them for awhile now. Love!

    Smooth berry taste!
    I'm a Mom of three active children and I work part-time as well. My mornings are often hectic getting kids up and ready for the day. I don't always have time to stop and eat a good breakfast. I love that I can grab a Carnation Essential Breakfast drink and feel good about getting the protein, minerals, and vitamins that I need to get my day started off. I really love that Carnation has come out with the mixed berry flavor breakfast drink. It tastes smooth and has the perfect balance of berry flavors. I will feel good giving this to my kids at snack time or to supplement their meals so that I know they are getting the nutrition that I know they need!

    I received this product in order to write a review. At first I must say I had some low expectations before tasting this. I thought it was going to be awful in the taste department. I was wrong . I popped it in the fridge the night before I figured it would taste better if it was cold in the morning. After all it is mid summer. I woke up to get ready for work and twisted the cap open. Took the first sip and was definitely surprised! It was delicious. It was creamy and chocolatey. I am a chocolate lover so I this was a pleasant surprise. Most drinks I've tried before are chalky in taste and not great at all in the flavor department. This drink is not one of them. i thourghly enjoyed it and it was great to have before work easy fast and great tasting.

    I received the classic vanilla flavor of the carnation breakfast essentials. I was amazed on how well it tasted! I was surprised that it didn't have a chalky taste, it reminded me of a vanilla milk shake! Very delicious! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

    These taste great. I didn't notice any significant difference in flavor, although I didn't do a side-by-side taste test. They are excellent for keeping me full until lunch, without feeling stuffed or lazy from a big meal. Even though these have few calories, I end up feeling like I have more energy in the morning.
