Great camera
This camera takes great pictures. I have been using my phone as a camera for so long, that having a camera to take pictures again is great. The details that the camera is able to pick up in the pictures look really good. The camera comes with one lens. Unless you are a professional photographer, you really don't need any other lens. A SD card comes with the camera to hold the pictures. The camera has WiFi so you can connect the camera to any smartphone. The connection is just like pairing any other wireless device. You also can use a HDMI mini terminal or digital terminal to connect the camera to a computer. I was able to use the digital terminal and use a cord that I used for a different camera, and it connected perfectly. The flash is good. There are a lot of settings to be able to get the right setting for your picture. It does take a little bit of practice to figure out what setting you want for your shot. It self focuses very well which makes the camera so easy to use. You just press the shutter down half way, it focuses, then you press it all the way down to take the picture. The camera has a timer that you can set as well to take pictures and have everyone in the picture and a tripod socket to set your tripod. The camera also can record video, and has a microphone, so it can make really good little movies. It's a great camera that is easy to use and takes great pictures. It does not coming with a caring case, so I will need to get one to protect the camera as I am on the go.

    I purchased this camera for a family trip. I love how the photos came out. Ver easy to use. My seven year old has taken interest in photography. the functions allow him to work the camera by itself. I'm still playing with all the settings but I love the auto adjust and the fact that the camera connects to my phone via WiFi. So far a great purchase.

    Great camera
    I really love all the features this camera has. Every time I use it, I'm discovering a new one. I'm pretty technologically challenged, but this hasn't hindered me. The zoom and focus give very detailed and sharp images. I cannot wait to take it on my next trip as right now I've only photographed the dog a million times

    A wonderful camera
    The Canon Rebel T100 is a wonderful camera with multiple features. In the box is the Rebel T100, the zoom lens EF-S18-55mm, the strap, battery charger and the battery pack. When you open the box, there are two things that you need to do. First, install the zoom lens onto the camera. Second, charge the battery. The battery comes with a small charge that consists of maybe 30 mins of use. Once you start charging the battery, take that time to sit down and read the manual. There are a lot of features to this camera and you want to make sure that you understand what each one does. On the dial, you have the scene intelligent auto, creative auto, portrait, landscape, close-up, sport, food, night portrait, and video. On the same dial, but the other end of the off position is your different programs that you can change your shutter speed to what fits you the best. On this camera is also a manual flash, located on the top of the camera. All you do with this is lift it up. The zoom lens has multiple different distances ranging from 18mm to 55mm. When taking pictures, you can take a single shot, or you can hold down the button and take multiple rapid-fire shots. This is handy, especially with kids when you are trying to get the perfect picture and you are not getting them to sit still. The camera right out of the box is kind of confusing but once you read the manual and understand all that this camera can do, it is an amazing camera.

    Perfect for beginners
    This review is for the Canon EOS Rebel T100 18-55 Kit. I am so in love with this camera! I do not have a lot to compare it to as I have only ever had small digital camera and smartphones as cameras over the year but I have always wanted a camera like this and could not be happier with this. It is great for a beginner and extremely easy to use. I thought I would be confused for awhile on how to work this camera but I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it is to navigate and use. You can do alot with this camera other than taking pictures with the awesome quality 18 mega pixel camera it also take HD videos. You can also share your pictures through wifi to any smartphone, including your own, using the app. It has other modes to play around with and also is able to add filters to your photos. You get a battery with charger, a strap and even an sd card. I am having alot of fun taking family photos with the camera this week. I highly recommend this camera especially if you are a beginner photographer or just looking for a great quality camera to take everyday photos.

    The 18 Megapixel Canon EOS Rebel T100 is incredible! This camera is wonderful when it comes to taking beautiful pictures that really help remember the experience. These DSLR quality photos are awesome, and the fully HD movies you can make are really great too. I have an iPhone, and knowing that I can instantly share and shoot photos and videos with the Canon Camera Connect app is brilliant! This app is also good for any compatible smartphone that has wifi. A great feature in this product is the 18 Megapixel sensor, which carries up to 19 times more surface area than a variety of smartphones. That's a really cool feature to have for a product with photos and videos! This camera has a Scene Intelligent Auto aspect that lets you frame and shoot anything, which leads to great results. Another very notable feature is the Guided Live View shooting with Creative Auto mode. You can add a lot of amazing and unique touches to your products with Creative Filters. The filters are all so excellent, from grainy B&W to the miniature effect! This camera makes sharing those perfect memories so much easier and faster in general. It's also a really good purchase for those beginners in photography who need a good place to start. The camera is durable, in great condition, and makes whatever you're trying to capture look ten times better! The last thing I should mention is that there are 3.0 frames per second and an optical viewfinder, two more great things in the collection of features. I highly recommend this camera to everyone!

    I LOVE THIS CAMERA!
    I received this product for free from the Wal-Mart spark review program. I cannot tell you how much I love this camera. This camera makes me feel like a professional. It does everything you can think of. It has so many setting for different types of photos (landscape,video, profile, action). You can do edits right from the camera. The flash is big and bright. The attachment makes it so you can zoom really far in and really far out. It's stylish. It comes with an SD card and a strap. The strap does not come with instructions and can be hard to get on. My brother loved it too so much he went and bought one at walmart for his girlfriend. I would highly recommend this camera.

    Great camera for beginners
    Love this camera. It's lightweight, not too bulky, comes with a camera strap, and charger. The charger plugs directly into the wall, no cords. When choosing a camera setting, you can see how to use each setting on the camera screen. It's super convenient if you aren't a professional photographer, and don't know what they are for!

    Awesome starter camera
    I am so excited about this camera. I have had another Canon Rebel before but this Rebel is so nice. The only feature that I don't totally understand is the turn dial to switch settings is how you turn power on and off. Most cameras usually have the power button so that throws me off. My only other suggestion is making the WiFi connection button easier to get to. This camera is easy to navigate yet has so many settings that I still have to go through and learn. I love that you can connect to WiFi and easily send the photos to your phone and you can even set the camera on a tripod and use your phone as a remote to take a photo. It feels great in your hands and isn't overly heavy or clunky. You can choose to look through the viewfinder or the large screen. This is a great entry dslr that does what you need. There aren't extra bells and whistles on this camera (you have to flip the flash up if you want it, it's not automatic). But if you are like me and want to capture quality pictures of your family this is a great option.

    Very nice camera.
    This Canon EOS Rebel T100 15-55 Kit Camera seems like a fairly good camera and has great potential. It allows you to customize all sorts of different shots in just about every way possible. You have to know something about photography to understand what it all does. I'm not very knowledgeable about photography so I'm still trying to learn what all the camera can do. But to start with I took just basic pictures with landscape mode and also portrait mode. That was very easy to do and understand. And the pictures came out very good. In low light they could have been better. But that's when adjusting the settings comes in, which I don't know how to do yet. The main problem came in on the videos. The video image quality is very good but I really do not like how the video focus works. The auto focus with video is limited. The focus ring does not turn and focus automatically as you move around. With auto focus you can only focus a video right before you start recording. So it's best to focus while zoomed out, then start recording. It handles the distance changes better that way. Also in auto focus if you start out focusing up close on something then start recording, the camera won't change focus on things any further away than that. So in order to be able to change focus if you've started up close or in zoom you have to start in manual focus mode. Then focus manually through out the video by turning the focus ring. If you can get it to auto focus differently I haven't discovered how. This camera has too many options and buttons to even begin to list them all. I love that it has a timer. And also love that you can manually get an extremely sharp focus on an object by pushing a button to zoom in on it, then focus it, then zoom back out and take your picture. The main menu is very easy to access. You can change your picture quality to 10 different settings. It comes with a manual but it's very short so you have to go online to get a more detailed one. The clicks are loud so if you are taking pictures and trying to be sneaky about it, you will be noticed. It's extremely lightweight and comes with the camera, a strap, battery, charger, and an 18-55mm lens. I don't know if it normally does but mine also came with a 32GB SD Card.

    Awesome Camera
    I'm excited to review the Canon EOS Rebel T100 18-55 Kit because it is a great product. First of all I'm used to instant cameras, digital cameras and more basic cameras. The most complicated camera I've used is a GoPro which isn't all that complicated so to me this is a very upgraded style camera in my life that feels very professional and it looks and feels expensive. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Set up was quick. I was happy that it came with an SD card. The camera strap is very comfortable. The resolution of the photos I take with this camera are far better than my other cameras. It is very easy to change the lens and the lens covers as well. They snap tight and feel very secure. I found that this camera is particularly good at taking action photos without any sort of blur or resolution problems so I feel that this camera would be good for taking photos at sporting events or children playing. Overall I feel this is a great camera for yourself or as a gift, especially for someone looking to get into photography who does not want to spend a crazy amount of money on a camera.
