Perfect like the ones in th gym.
Bought them for my husband to use at home. They are perfect. Just like the ones in the gym. We bought one pair of 25lbs and one pair of 40lbs. Note that each dumbbell is sold single and not as a pair.

Need to handle product better!
My item didn't arrive in the original packaging because it was destroyed in transit. The item came wrapped in shrink wrap. Upon inspecting the item I noticed several small chunks and signs of abrasion where the item should have a smooth surface. Otherwise the item is good but you can tell it was not handled with care

    Price was right with free shipping that came in quick. I'm taking off a star because every time I use it I end up with black residue on my hands and clothes.

    Great affordable dumbbells
    I got two of 15lb when switching to a new strength program and running out of the weights I already own. the delivery was swift and packaging great. Quality is great, no rust nor oil, the rubber parts are a little messy with black dust but totally expected from this type of equipment when new. Very happy with my purchase. My home scale weighed them in at 28.8 for two, not too bad (should be 30.0 but then, the precision of any home scales is seldom exactly what they claim)

    As other reviewers stated, dumbells are very stinky. I scrubbed mine w rag and dawn detergent and hot water. This removed lots of black rubber residue, but strong smell remained. So, I scrubbed each w 70% alcohol. This too removed residue. However, after all this and a few days outdoors, they are still way too stinky to bring indoors. Also, I bought CAP 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 lb sets, and they are from different manufacturers, and are labeled differently w different (though similar) grips. I had them shipped to me, so no choice in selection. Disappointed.

    The dumbbell quality is okay; but it is bigger than the Gozone one at the same weight. The grip was hard on my hand so I returned them then purchased a set of Gozone 10 lb instead.

    Weird Residue
    A weird brown residue was all over the 15lbs weights that I purchased. I have washed them twice now and still there. Not sure what it is but extremely frustrated!

    Mixed bag... if you get a good one, it's great!!!
    If you receive a quality one it is great! These dumbbells smell quite a bit initially, and need to air out. There is quite a bit of variation on the fit and finish of the dumbbells I received. Some had extra rubber that needed to be trimmed back away from the handles, on others the handles had sustained damage in the shipping or manufacturing process, and some were pretty much perfect - clean handles and no excess rubber. Just a clear quality control issue... likely a result of the pandemic and the factory being short staffed compounded with an increased demand for home workout equipment... where dumbbells are probably a relatively lower dollar investment and many people would look to start their home gym with dumbbells for that reason.

    Nice looking dumbbells
    I been slowly building my home gym and CAP dumbbells are high quality. The best part in my opinion is the texture in the handles for easy grip. If you use them in a civilize manner they should last you many years

    Great Value
    With demand surging for home fitness gear, Walmart kept pricing close to pre-pandemic on these dumbbells at ~$1 per pound. With some persistence, I was able to find a set from 20-40 pounds in store . They are a great value if you can find them in stock!
