Best Brother Printer to date.
Brother printers have been great for me. Each lasts around 9 yrs before I upgrade. This one is fantastic as it connects to my network wirelessly. Works with both my Windows and Linux machine to print wirelessly. This one does fax, copy, print, scan as I need all 4 functions for my home office. I love that I can scan from my computer (do have to put item on printer to scan) directly to pdf. Basically it's better than my old one, and now is slightly cheaper than 9 yrs ago !! I set it up on Windows using the software included. For Linux I downloaded the driver from the Brother site. It uses normal printer paper. Comes with a starter drum of laser powdered ink. Does not include a printer cable but I connected to wireless network and am happy to not use my old printer cable and print server.

not a color printer like it says
searched for color laser printer this one comes up it say monochrome/color but it is only black and also show another toner cartridge in instructions and sats to use other one first..there is no other toner cartridge..

    Perfect Printer
    The price was perfect after so many past years of expensive printers. Brother printers have been my go-to for a long time and this one worked perfectly for our group. We processed the whole rodeo weekend without any hiccups, and the printer will accept after-market toners to help keep the operating costs low. Having a printer with a small footprint, and still have scan/copy features is great!

    I ordered this particular model because it could be delivered from store. This is a good general purpose printer with scanner.. I had to use a printer cable to get it properly synced on my network not sure why.. so don't expect it to easily set up right out of the box I have decades of experience with computer hardware and software and it was unpleasant to say the least to get this set up. originally I ordered a color laser version and the store did not deliver it (and basically argued that it had been delivered). medium to light office duty, easily moved if necessary.

    Such an upgrade
    I'm so glad I finally upgraded from an inkjet printer!! The consistency %26 speed at which this prints is great. The ink is also affordable and I don't have to replace it as often. It took me about 20 minutes to setup which included me trying to figure out my Wi-Fi password. I haven't had any issues after several months of use and I'd highly recommend it.

    Great printer!!
    It's better than the other model I got. I can actually copy multiple pages at once. It's fast and has everything on it. Even a fax option, although I'll use it maybe once a year. Great buy!

    Fast and versatile printer that won’t break the ba
    Fast and versatile printer that won’t break the bank. Even though I’ll never need the Fax I like the scanning especially scan to computer. Highly recommend this printer for home use.
