I recently purchased this Brita Pacifica water filter pitcher in red. It filters 10 cups of water for a refreshing cup of water especially if you put it in the refrigerator after filling it up. I love my pitcher because it makes my tap water taste better and I don't have to spend money on bottle water every week. This is the most inexpensive way for better tasting water.

Horrible waste of money.
Worthless. I have bought Brita pitchers in the past and they worked great. These cracked and broke as I tried to set them up as others have stated. They want me to pack them up and mail them back to get a refund-since I live far away from a Wal-mart....Do not buy this. I wasted my money. Also, the one that did work for a little bit before it broke all the way did not clean the water enough-it was still gross and full of chemicals.

    Cheaply made
    Brita used to be good, now is cheaply made plastic handle broke. Will filter water.

    Disappointment
    For how much this costs, I would expect better quality. I purchased a pitcher, broke the first day. Assumed I got a bad one. Took a week for the 2nd one to break. I've been limping it along for 6 months but now its breaking even more. How are people supposed to afford buying a new pitcher every 6 (or less) months? So frustrated with this poor quality. Had my previous pitcher for 10 years.

    It is a decent buy
    I Like the sleek design of 10 cup Brita but then there is design issue. When water starts to overflow it goes inside the pitcher without passing through the filter.

    It's good enough but needs some upgrades
    I like the filtration system but I don't like that the tip cover comes off really easily. And if the jar is full, the water will spill out on the sides when serving, therefore making a mess. Also the cover on top of the jar gets lightly stuck and i have to wiggle it a little to close the top part where you fill it with water. If you want something high quality this is not it. But you get what you pay for. Either way still works well and I do like it but those minor flaws make it not as great.

    Defective in many ways
    As you can see in the pic the filter tube is at an angle, not straight down like it should go,so the filter will go in at an angle. The lid does not fit on properly even without the filter being in!! You would think quality control wouldn't let this very obviously defective product go out.

    Busted Brita
    The Brita pitcher was cracked from the top of the pitcher almost to the bottom on the pour side and the crack had been taped with clear cellophane tape. The toggle part for pouring was also busted. I called Walmart and the rep said they were sending a replacement and they sent a shipping label for me to mail back the busted Brita pitcher.

    The pitcher and the toggle pour piece arrived broken. Not only was there a crack from the pour pour to the bottom of the pitcher, clear cellophane tape had been put over the crack. I contacted Walmart and and was told a replacement was coming. Walmart sent me a shipping label to return the cracked and broken pitcher. I wish I had read the reviews about the similar experiences prior to ordering.

    Great Pitcher!!
    I love this, I went from drinking 6-8 500 mls. and Thanks to my Son that came home, he said u need a Brita, So after finding out from him about the pitcher!! I'm thinking.....WHY? Have I never done this? So I ordered my 10 Cup Pitcher and a refill filter that will last 6 months. So between the Jug and the 2 filters cause one that lasts for 2 months comes with it. This should last well into 2022! So I definitely would recommend it. Thanks Brita for making this. I am a reformed Women, Before this, I would Never have drank any water except bottled.
