Where has this been my whole shaving life
First off I was given this product in exchange my my honest opinion and here it is. Soon receiving the first thing I did after unboxing my new epilator was look over the instructions. To be honest they were a bit confusing nothing seemed to correspond between pictures a written instructions. After finally decifering them I immediately plugged the unit in I couldn't wait to see it this was something that would actually work for me. First off a bit of background, I am one of many many women who suffer from PCOS and have a bit of a "hairy situation" to deal with on a daily basis. I have been shaving my legs for as long as I can remember and it has now gotten to the point that shaving no longer works, I'm always left with what I call a quote on quote 5o'clock shadow on my legs that never goes away, that is until now. At first I was absolutely sceptical that I would ever have soft hair free legs without spending an arm and a leg on laser hair removal. But alas I have been proven wrong, my legs are finally soft and smooth and has certainly lasted longer than the usual few hours like shaving did. The Braun Silk-Epil 9 9-720 Epilator is so easy to use and has been an absolute life saver. Best part is can use really when ever and wherever, no more nessesary water or shaving cream. Used it both in and out of the shower with no issues. Easy to clean too everything quite literally pops apart and is easily put back together. I would absolutely 100% recommend this to everyone. Easiest at home hair removal that actually works that I have ever tried! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Major piece missing
I bought the epilator specifically because it could be used for shaving facial hair. The facial cap that attaches to the shaving head was missing from the box. Thus the epilator was of absolutely of no use to me.

    Life Changing!
    For 18 years I have been a waxer. I typically like to wax my legs on my own due to salon prices being a little outrageous however I have gotten so tired of making time to heat up the wax, having issues with certain spots because I am simply not flexible enough (back of the legs) and then sometimes I accidently bruise myself because the wax may not be too hot or something doesnt go right. I was VERY skeptical about epilation as the reviews make this thing sound like pure torture. I bought it then avoided and only to finally cave and try it. The sensation is definitely different and if you focus on that feeling you WILL feel it more. If you focus on the fact that it removes the hair so efficiently, you may (like me) become a little addicted and want to try other places! I had minimal to no pain on my lower legs and knees. I am waiting to complete my upper legs/thighs since I have more hairs there but I not anticipate it to hurt except in the inner thighs area. Holding the skin taught and taking my time outside of the shower works for me. I found the shower didn't allow for the hairs to be pulled out efficiently as it does when it is dry but again, that's just me. If you are curious to try this, bite the bullet - you might be pleasantly surprised. I feel like this is going to change my life as gone are the days of having to whip out the wax pot where I can literally keep this thing charged and spot treat as I see hairs much more efficiently than if I used a tweezer AND my legs are honestly smoother than if I waxed. Since it removes smaller hairs than waxing does, I get an even better finish. Seriously, this thing has changed my life and I completely regret not jumping on the epilating ship sooner.

    It's so weak I rather you guys buy
    it's very very weak it's so weak it's not as strong as Braun Epilator Silk-epil 3 which is $40 on And it worked very very good much faster much cheaper and has very strong power I don't recommend this one at all it's very weak and it's not what is the price for $84 not worth it at all

    Good device. Charge life?
    I have had one of these since I was a young person and keep buying them. I use on my face, bikini line, legs and underarms. My complaint is the charge life but I think I used to charge them too long. I'm going to stick to the 2 hours only instructions so hopefully this one lasts longer.

    Impressive Device
    Wow! I had no idea how the Silk-epil 9 SensoSmart 9/880 Wet And Dry epilator would actually be able to pull out so many little hairs so efficiently, but it did! It was a bit of a painful shock at the beginning to get used to the pinching of pulling out the hairs by their roots, but also pretty addicting! I was impressed with how easy the device was to use and how well it did what it is supposed to do- tweeze hairs out. I tried it wet and dry and I preferred using it wet in the bath, that seemed to offer a little relief. The areas epilated were red afterwards and a tiny bit sore, but that was all cleared up by the next morning. I love that I don't have to shave quite as often and theres no razor burn marks. Overall, I'm excited to have this gadget in my make-up bag for the summer. I've only done my legs, feet and toes so far, but would definitely recommend for that. I also love the spinning face brush that this set comes with! This is a very impressively designed and quality product.

    I tested this product out on my arm as well as my face. I actually did my entire face with the eiplatior. 1st off as it states in the directions that attachment takes some getting used to. It did remove a decent amount of tje facial hairs and left my skin feeling smooth. The same thing applies to the area of my arm that i used the epilator on

    First Timer and Forever Sold!!!
    I got this and couldn't wait to try it. Charged it up which went relatively quickly. Made sure to read all the instructions and get the jist of how to use it. This thing is amazing. I have super sensitive skin and it left me feeling as fresh and smooth as a baby's behind. It's easy to use and I love all the extra attachments it cane with. Oh and the facial brush is a godsend. Feels like a mini facial. Works wonders and leaves your face glowing.
