Very good, but very expensive.
Shaver works very well, but is very expensive.I had one like this before, but the battery only lasted 3 years . The replacement head, also is about $ 60.00

    Close shave
    This razor is great. I used to have a Remington. It took forever to shave and it didn't shave cose. I was hesitant to buy the Braun because of the cost, but it was worth every penny. I get a close shave and I don't have to constantly go over the same areas. It also shaved hard to reach areas like my chin.

    Great Upgrade
    Delivered as stated and unboxing was easy. Having had a Braun Series 7 the past 6 years I found this Braun Series 9 to be a good upgrade. Very positive results after just a few shaves. Would recommend this shaver !

    Did not perform as advertised, not worth the money
    After several months owning this razor I can say that it does not even come close to living up to the hype and high price. I find it almost impossible to get a clean shave. They advertise that its good for tough beards but not from what I have experienced. To make matters worse, not only do you pay the high initial price to purchase Braum requires you to buy into a cleaning system with replacement cartridges that last about a month or 2 with regular use. My old $60 Norelco gave me a much better shave w/o the need to buy cleaning cartridges. For my experience, it was a waste of money.

    Braun is Excellence
    This is an excellent high end shaver from Braun. It is well engineered and pleasing to the eye. With all the models of this version of the shaver it gets a bit confusing as to which one has what, especially as to which cleaning station you are getting.

    Falls short
    I've used this razor for a little over and have officially given it more than a fair shot. I had high hopes for the S9, but have found that it doesn't get as close, regardless of the angle or amount of tugging. I previously used a Series 7 for 11 years and almost got another one due to how well it performed. But instead, I made the choice to get the newest and most improved version. Aside from the poor closeness the S9 has shown, I've had to replace the cartridge after 7months of use (estimated lifespan is 18months) and the on/off button broke after 6months of use. This isn't really the quality I've come to expect from Braun.

    Excellent shaver!
    This shaver cuts at first pass cleanly. I was surprised how fast I'm done with my beard. I recommended this to sons. I love Braun products. My old one lasted more than a decade. The rechargeable battery just died down. I should've replaced it but I decided to buy the new model.
