Never buy a WD product
WD has swapped its NAND to a slow nand and this is unfair. writes speed are very poor for someone who records a lot of video (game capture , desktop capture ) it sucks. Now i will advice for buying a SAMSUNG 980 to everyone. and WD you just lost a lot of customer i have bought over 20 WD product for my friends. now i will go for samsung.

    I replaced my hard drive which took ten minutes to load Windows and my programs with the SN 550, 1 terabyte drive chip. It now takes 10 seconds to load the same Windows and associated programs.

    Buy it!
    Installation was simple. Plugged it into slot, turned computer on. Computer immediately recognized it, no hassle. Works super great, can't believe how fast it is compared too my old 7200 drive. Best thing I ever did too the computer.

    WD Blue SN550 NVMe SSD - 1 TB
    Love this bit of hardware. Got a great deal on it. Received it quickly. I'd already bought a NVME case to use this to clone my existing smaller capacity NVME. The software - Acronis is available for free on the WD site and it works great! Had no issues with the cloning itself and this drive is blazing fast. Worth it.

    Best bang for your buck
    Little finicky with my mobo, but found out just using a different m.2 slot made it work. Very happy with it, decent R/W speeds.
