Simple Beautiful fixture
This is a simple but beautiful brushed metal light fixture. You could easily change out the glass bulb cover for a more decorative look, but I love the simplicity of the clear glass. A decorative bulb would look nice in this fixture. All necessary hardware was included and it is rated for damp use, so it can be installed in a bathroom area.

Nice quality
This is a nice quality brushed nickel wall sconce. It is heavy weight and not cheap in materials. The box was well packed and everything was wrapped in bubble wrap nicely.

    No turn off button
    We do not have a dimmer switch. We live in a older house. It looks great. I wondering if I can buy a lightbulb that I use our phones to turn it off and on with?

    new light works great in bathroom
    This is a great fixture and looks great on the wall. The only thing that I might have done differently is to have something other then a clear glass globe on it. This globe shows dust very quickly and has to be cleaned often. I put this light in as a replacement for an old out of date and slightly damaged fixture. I had to turn the base 90 degrees from how it was originally packaged in the ox it came in, this was a quick easy fix. It does hang down so is a bit lower on the wall then the old fixture but if your old fixture isn't already hanging low this should not be a problem but may need to be something considered. Installing the fixture as a replacement was very simple and straight forward. The bracket that it came with mounted onto the existing box very simply as described and then mounted to the base of the fixture just as easily. I did have to do slight adjusting the decorative ball studs so the balls were holding tight. Three screws through the globe holds the globe in place. The bulb is a bit dim for me, I like lots of light when I am using light in my bathroom and this bulb doesn't quite meet my expectations, I did try a different style bulb but didn't care for it either but I will find one I like better sooner or later. i did photograph it with a bulb I had on hand. I do like the fixture and it is getting used every day and I don't see any reason that would change.

    Visually appealing fixure for
    This light fixture looks good and would look great with the rest of the Safford collection of fixtures. The only downside was the beginnings of possible rust on the metal finish, so installing in a humid environment, like a bathroom, may not be a good idea. Another possible problem may arise if you have a home with a crawlspace, or a lot of movement in your walls, the glass lamp shade is loosely held and will rattle. Also, the glass had a very small air bubble but it probably wouldn't be visible to most observers.

    Lovely Sconce
    We were so excited to have been able to apply for the Better Homes & Gardens Safford Industrial 1-Light Indoor Wall Sconce! We have the Satin Nickel finish, and this box came with everything needed to provide for a seamless installation! Light bulb and all. We will be using this in our Guest bathroom, and it fits perfectly with our decor. Modern, simple and elegant.

    NICE sconce fixture
    The fixture is metal and glass with a very nice satin nickel finish. A Great Value LED bulb comes with the fixture which is nice. Instructions to install are simple. Would have given 5 stars except the glass globe portion arrived completely shattered. This fixture exceeds expectations otherwise. Recommend buying at the store instead of having it shipped to home.

    Nice update!
    I will be replacing my hall light fixture with this more modern sconce. I like the satin nickel finish, it is compatible with a number of home decor items these days-a modern choice to update my home. The sconce came well wrapped with bubble wrap and included nicely detailed installation instructions. The glass part has 3 holes in it that line up with the screws on the base to install it. The glass is completely clear-nice, but I did think it would have some tint to it. The only reason for the 4stars rather than 5 is the feeling that the glass is a bit fragile. I am handling it with great care and will do so as I attach it to the base with the 3 screws being sure to line them up properly to avoid cracking it. I was very pleased that it came with a 40watt bulb (uses 4.5 watts). Nice to have all I need to install and use this right away! Pleased with this purchase.

    This light fixture was pretty easy to install using only the directions. You'll be handling electrical wires and if you aren't comfortable with that you'll need to call a friend who is, or if all else fails your local handyman. I liked that the glass cover used actual holes in the cover to hold it onto the base with screws, instead of having screws holding onto sort of "dents" in the cover or anything like that where the cover can easily slip off if the screws become even slightly loose. This method is used on a lot of lighting fixtures and I absolutely hate it, and am so glad that this one is different!! I didn't like that the base had scratches all over it, since it being satin nickel, the whole idea is to go for a clean look after my shed is finally fixed up. And one thing I wasn't sure if it was good or bad was that the cover wiggles back and forth a lot if you touch it. Maybe it's good to keep it loose so it doesn't break easily when changing the bulb, but I'm not sure. It came with a bulb that worked and looked nice. But I did realize later that I wish I had chosen something with a lightly frosted cover because of glare, it was just something I hadn't thought about but doesn't affect the rating here. So make sure you are picking the right level of lighting you want as well. I'd recommend this, keeping in mind that if you buy online instead of in-store and you also happen to get a scratched one, you may need to exchange it. But it really is excellent lighting and easy to install, and that was really important!

    Beautiful lighting option
    The Better Homes & Gardens Safford Industrial 1-Light Indoor Wall Sconce, in a Satin Nickel finish is a great option for so many places that you may need lighting. I placed this light in my hallway that leads to our bedrooms. It is a long, dark hall at night, but the overhead light is too bright to leave on. So, I placed this on the wall and leave it on at night. It has been great. I like the "rustic" look that it gives; and the 40 watt light being able to be dimmed is awesome.
