I love love love this fireplace and it looks just like the picture so if you are looking for a nice electric fireplace this is the one cause the wood is very heavy and the finish is beautiful.The process of putting it together does take awhile put it is sooo worth it once it is together.Thank you Walmart love my fireplace.

    Very Sturdy and made very well
    After ordering it i did receive it but only 2 days later than what the first day they told me. As most of everyone has yes it does take some time to put together but after its set up it really change my room around to a better look and the heat from the fireplace is very nice or u can shut it off and only have the flames with no heat. I will say it is really heavy it took me and the Fed-Ex guy to bring it in my house, the box says it weighs alittle of 100 lbs. i am giving it a 4 star only because the delivery was slower than anticipated other than that it's a really nice purchase for the money..

    Good product for the price
    The material is a little cheap and easy to strip the screws. The tiny screws to put on the back panel were a pain in the but. It was difficult to line up the fireplace and screw it in by myself. I should have gotten help or paid more money for solid wood, but this is what I could afford and honestly, for the price its a great tv stand. It just is difficult to move without those carpet gliders, cause the top part that the tv sits on can easily be broken off if you lift by that lip. I open the glass doors and put my hand there and kinda try to drag and wiggle it, but its very front-heavy due to the fireplace. Honestly I cant ask for much tho cuz its only 200 something. Love the color, wish there were matching bookshelves.

    looks nice but.....
    Very clear instructions. it took my son and I minimum 4hrs to put together. The quality is not the best, a few pieces after putting it together were not even and the would began to peal its color after adding screws. the doors don't close easy. They have to be pushed in. over all once put together it looks good. I really wouldn't recommend it for the cost.

    Ok so...5 hours of labor are the most important consideration if you will be assembling this alone. It was easy to follow the instruction book and all parts were present. Now the fun stuff- we LOVE this thing!! The wood has such a beautiful hue, the fireplace/heater is SO cool, its the perfect size for our wall and TV and it was affordable!! Pretty hard to beat all of that! Assembly was a drag but totally worth it. We're super happy with this purchase!

    This fire place is well worth the price.
    This was time consuming for me to put together, but easy and well worth it. Instructions are very clear and everything labeled perfectly. I am 55 yr old women, did it myself, except my husband helped me flip it over to put on the backing. Very heavy, excellent quality. Fire place is awesome and completes basement re-do for college kid studying virtually!! :( One hint when cutting out the holes for cords, be super careful. Do not push out the circle without fully cutting the whole circle. I ripped a small piece of the paper faux wood covering off on the inside. I was able to glue it back down with glue stick and can't tell at all. THAT was the ONLY mistake I made. Otherwise perfect for price, well worth the labor.

    Must buy console w/fireplace
    It is beautiful! It took about an hour and a half to put together! Only real man power needed was screwing the screws for doors. I love the fact that I can have the fireplace lights on without having the heater going! Very satisfied with my purchase. Waiting on the matching coffee table as I type! Yay me! Compliments my new living room furniture perfectly!

    It took like 6 hours to put the item together but it was well worth it. Absolutely love the way that it looks and the fireplace works great, I hope to have it for many years.
