Solid as a rock ! READ THE INSTRUCTIONS !
Purchased two of these organizers to create a separator wall between a work area and a family room. Sat down with the instructions and found them to be pretty straight forward. The key being definitely DO NOT LIFT THE ORGANIZER UNTIL THE SIDES, TOP, AND BOTTOM ARE FIRMLY ATTACHED !!! This makes screwing in the 8 long, heavy duty screws a bit of a chore at the end as you are doing it while the organizer is flat on the floor using a small allen wrench. But once everything was tight, we lifted it and it was solid as a rock. For the second organizer I did use a small hand held electric screwdriver with the correct allen wrench bit to speed up the process. 10/10 would buy again !!

DONT BUY! FELL APART WHILE PUTTING IT TOGETHER
Garbage - it fell in on itself and broke off pieces. I followed the directions and when I put on One piece I guess it got too heavy and fell down, breaking some of the dowels off into the holes so it's absolutely useless. extremely disappointed as I thought it would be a solid and sturdy piece of furniture but instead it ended up being a waste of money and not worth the particle board that was used on it.

    Very disappointing! Piece of junk.
    Beware. This is very cheaply made of particle board, plastic pins, and cam lock screws. If you ever intend to move it, it'll probably be destroyed in the process. Mine didn't even come with all the proper pieces or instructions for assembly. Very disappointed! If I'd had instructions, I'd have known it didn't come with all the pieces before assembling the majority of it and wasting my time!

    Very happy with quality and color. Perfect for what we needed…. Using as a room divider. (Don't mind the clutter, still settling in new house) Just a little challenging to put together. We ordered two and of those there was one board that was a little twisted but able to still make it work

    I ordered this last month and finally got around to building it. I had built the 3x4 and it was amazing. A bit of a pain, but I love it. This one, the moment I stood it up everything busted! Three shelves, veneer, screw holders popped, etc. Pictures to show. And of course, I've already thrown away the box! Not like I could have gotten this busted thing back into it! It was such a waste of money. Go for the smaller units. They're much more durable.

    Sturdy shelving, but with some assembly difficulty
    It's really sturdy. The instructions were very easy to follow. The top and bottom were very difficult to screw together. It's definitely a 2-person job. Very satisfied once it was assembled though.

    The Leaning Tower of Stupidity
    I've bought two of these in smaller sizes before and loved them. This completely fell apart as soon as I finished assembly. The screws popped, mangled, and sunk into the end pieces, and the veneer split from the particle board (I've got to start investing in real furniture so I never again have to write such an embarrassing sentence). I don't even know what to do with it. I don't have the wherewithal to disassemble and arrange a return. It would be a stupid waste, both environmentally and in terms of labor, anyway, to return a 100lb of junk. So it's sitting propped up with stuff all over it in my New York apartment so the cat doesn't die trying to climb what I now refer to as The Leaning Tower of Stupidity. The smaller ones, 6 and 8 cube, they rock. This one serves as a humble reminder that I'm an adult now, and adults do adult things, like purchasing real wood.

    waste of time
    worst thing i ever bought dry rotted and warped had to use deck screws to put it together have marines coming home needed it right away so no time to return it . waste of money and was told i had to take it apart to send it back

    Changed size from before
    I bought the exact same item a year or so ago, and it is a different size. It's like Better Bomes and Gardens changed manufacturing. The side and top pieces are thinner than before. So, while I like the shelf, it doesn't match with the others bought before. It's like an inch shorter. Not super happy about that.

    Not super sturdy
    The price was good and shipping was fast. Putting it together was fairly easy it took about an hour. But wood had a split in it a a few scratches. I didn't want the hassle of trying to send it back so I just used some wood glue. Finished product looked nice, but it doesn't feel super sturdy.

    This looks very nice set up. It is huge, I was a little surprised by the size. It is a bit wobbly when set up so I took away one star. I do like it but maybe would have ordered two smaller ones and put them side by side instead had I known it would be wobbly....overall I like it. It would be perfectly fine for an adult that wouldn't be rough with it. Also, the corners on one side were crushed in, I think that happened during shipping. I just put that side to the wall. i would recommend.

    Brings all new meaning to Wal-Mart Fall-Apart…. Very mad that I wasted hard earned money on this item. In the process of moving it after set up to start putting items on the shelves the entire unit collapsed …. Didn't even move it 2 feet! … too bad I was made to give it at least 1 star
