Perfect Gift ?For the New Baby!
I have had so much fun purchasing items for my new granddaughter. I love the Baby Einstein products! They are put together well...great quality! The colors, sounds and activities will provide hours of fun for my granddaughter. This makes a great gift for the new baby!

Defective Product
I received this product for my baby shower about a year ago, my son turns 1 yr this month and had been playing in the Rhythm of the Reef Activity Saucer for about 5 months when I noticed a couple weeks ago that he was sucking on something. I realized he had been able to break the stem to the fish completely in half and was sucking on it. I was not sure if it was a clean break so I ended up taking off time from work to take him to the doctor to make sure no little pieces were swallowed. I think this product should be removed from the shelves as it has obviously had problems with the strings of the crab and my 10 month old son was able to break the hard plastic. I would not recommend this product to anyone. Very disappointed and used to love Baby Einstein products.

    The piano part of you has 3 buttons only one works. Called company that part is out of stock They sent complimentary hand held musical toy until those are back in stock in approximately one month. Was impressed with their customer service. Baby has reflux, bought for an upright activity.

    My Baby loves it...
    I brought this activity saucer for my then 4 month old and at first he just look at all the toys on it and tried to reach for them. But, now he is always turning spinning the toys laughing at the piano. he loves it so much keeps him occupied for about 30 minutes which is good this way I can straighten up around the house without having to hold him all day.

    Great Activity Saucer But Slightly Reserved
    This is a great activity center for sitting infants and young toddlers. It's got three levels of secure height adjustment to grow with your child. While I like the overall style and functionality of this saucer, there were a few issues with my first one ordered: 1. I chose the site-to-store option and the box was heavily beaten. I honestly thought the unit would be missing parts or something was going to be damaged just by the looks of it. 2. Missing "eye hook" part. I was correct in my assumption from above, but this wasn't because of the poor handling of the box, these parts are all in sealed plastic bags, but ours was missing an eye hook. 3. The electronic keyboard only partially worked. Only 1 of the 3 keys worked. 4. The crab component has ribbon on the sides of it that easily unraveled as my infant started grabbing at it. Went into the other room and came back with fine thread all over his hand and around him. 5. I'm not too fond of how some of the snap in play items are placed. They have a leave with dangling pendant right next to the crab and they interfere with each other. My infant loves the crab so I chose to remove the leaf item so he could play with it better. 6. Not a fault of the item itself, however I had a activity saucer almost exactly like the functionality of this one (there are a few different brands with the same style saucer) but it was sold by Bright Starts. The Bright Starts saucer came with a slide-in seat hole reducer for smaller infants. This helps A LOT to reduce the jostling of your young one. We put a folded up small blanket behind him. I reached out the manufacture for most of these issues wondering if they'd rather send me the missing and damaged parts rather than a return which would inconvenience me of repacking and taking back to store. In a polite way, they asked that I return it. So, what I did... I bought a new one shipped free to my house, I swapped out the damaged pieces and took the missing parts from the new one and now I'm going to return it. This way I don't have to disassemble and reassemble a new one! I also took a lighter to singe the ribbon on the crab a little more so it doesn't fray. Even after this whole ordeal, it's a great activity saucer. I would just be aware of some quality issues and giving you the heads up that you may need to return one or interchange parts with another purchase to get the full functionality from this saucer. Photos: In one of my photos you can see the fraying ribbon on the crab. The other photo show you can see the unit assembled without the music keyboard installed since it didn't work (as mentioned) and a hole next to the crab where I removed the leave w/ pendant (also, as mentioned). I bought this saucer with the "Baby Einstein Octoplush Plush Toy" which you can see sitting next to him in a tray area where no toys snap in. Hopefully this review and images help someone!

    This saucer is very colorful and has lots of toys mounted on it. Really kept my grandsons attention. Much safer than a walker too!

    Excellent for Busy bodies
    My son is 5 months old and he is extremely active. Everytime i put him in the activity reef, he lights up and wants to play with everything on this item. It's a joy to watch and saves you time to do other things around the house while your child is busy on the reef.

    I bought this for my 4 mo
    I bought this for my 4 month old and he seems to really enjoy the sea creatures, especially the clicking sounds from the crab. It was very easy to assemble despite the instructions: the pictures ended up being backwards but it doesn't really matter what order the play pieces go. It is frustrating to try and remove the play pieces to clean around them. Also, the "piano" on my unit is defective. It will only play the Orange key and you have to hit it very hard, impossible for a 4/5 month to do it would be nice if the music played a little longer as well. I bought the bouncer for my oldest son a few years ago and regret not buying it again for my newest.
