Hubby loves it.
My husband loves it it is easy to operate and does a great job and the fact that the battery is rechargeable makes it even better

Major issue
Just bought one to replace a 2+ year old model that ran flawlessly until a few weeks ago when it would run and then stop running. Replacing the battery and charger made no difference. It would run sporadically, which was maddening. I bought a new one and ran it until the battery was used up (about 15 minutes), put a fresh battery in and it wouldn't run. Exact same issue as I had with my 2+ year old model. Waited about 6 hours for the original battery to recharge and it still would not run when I replaced the battery. The next afternoon while I was boxing it up to return it, I pushed the trigger and it ran! I returned it as clearly there is a major issue. My guess is they have faulty switches in this model. A relatively simple fix yet they do not make the part available to purchase.

    New battery operated trimmer
    This wackerh gets the job done without worrying about gassing up and doing tune up all the time. I use high speed mostly to get the job done even though I have to charge it more often. I like it.

    Super convenient
    I've had my B D 20V trimmer for over a year now. I have a 1/4 acre lot with a wood fence around it and an above ground pool that I need to trim around also. One battery trims the driveway, sidewalk, around the trees and utilities, flower bed and pool. I get about half way around the fence before the first battery gives out. I have a drill and jigsaw that also use the same battery so I always have a couple ready to go. Super convenient that I don't have to drag out (and put away) an extension cord. I even take it to the marina to trim under my boat trailer. After a year of use, I have yet to replace the line spool.

    ok for light work but not enough for tougher jobs
    Not enough power to handle much of the weeds I want to cut. Also battery didn't last long enough to finish my project. A smaller yard and second battery and it would be ok. I love the B

    DO NOT BUY
    This lasted only a few weeks then died! I sent message to seller that i want to return it i never received return instructions nor returned my message. I'm going to Wal Mart to return... see what happens. smh

    Good buy!!
    Received it the next day after ordering. I'm a widow, 82 years old. Was afraid it would be too heavy. But it's lightweight, easy to carry and use. I'm pleased with the ease of handling and the nice job of trimming. My daughter wants to buy one like it after trimming her yard with it.

    Used only once. Knew power was not as my elect. Edger but was able to trim and edge my yard w/o having to recharge battery. Yard is 3/4 acre.
